The cold was not kind to her. It clung to her pelt and made hunting difficult. But she still had a thick coat and the ability to survive in the cold itself. Leafbare was never kind, but in the least she was made to survive it. RainClan cats were streamlined and water proof in the pelt from many moons living off the water, and Peachblossom was no different. Which was why she'd dug herself a den inside a snow drift and nestled in to watch the clan as they went about their day. Really, she was supposed to be doing something but she didn't care so much for what she was 'supposed' to do as much as what she wanted to do. Also, her mother was nagging her to find some handsome tom and have pretty grandkits for her to dote on. The older she-cat had badgered her for many moons, more so since Silverstar rose to power. After all, a she-cat in his good graces was given the entire valley on a leaf. Her words, not Peachblossom's. Silverstar was boring. She'd grown used to his various flings as they'd all grown up and decided his repetitive nature wasn't something interesting. His brother and littermate however, was another story.
She'd watched Brookfall from various hiding places over the moons. Watched and followed his drama since its beginning. She'd watched him make the mistake of falling in love with a she-cat that, to her, really didn't love him the same. She watched him do things against the clan for that she-cat, watched him struggle and fight to keep her and in the end, she watched him lose the one he loved. All just good drama for the blonde she-cat.
Many times she'd wanted to come out from her place and tell him how stupid he was being, how he had put his affections and efforts into the wrong cat. It wasn't affection for the tom that drove that drive, but her own personality. She hated it when she could see someone making a big mistake that to her was so obvious but they were too involved in to see. She hated not being able to tell them what she saw, to helping them turn the situation back around. And mostly, she hated seeing her clanmates in pain. While the drama was entertaining, she didn't like that that stupid tom had gotten hurt for his choices.
