Beauty, while often easy to spot, is more often times than not accompanied by mystery and strangeness. This idea is how many typically describe Dogkit, both while she is young and when she gets older.
With a coat reminiscent of a darker-pelted leopard, to some it may be strange as to why she was given the prefix Dog, for she doesn't look like one. But names aren't always used in the literal sense. Her name, similarly to that of both of her sisters', was derived from a poisonous plant rather than the actual animal. The Doghobble plant, a dangerous plant with fascinating downward-hanging white flowers, was chosen for her name not only because of the toxicity, but also the patch of down-facing white fur found along her muzzle, chin, and neck. Though, while she does have some other small patches of white on her chest and stomach, the rest of her pelt is covered in a dark Bengal pattern. With a mixture of oranges, browns, and tans as a base color, the stripes and spots that cover her body take on a dark-brown, nearly-black shade of color. While most of them are a mix of browns and blacks, there is a "stripe" made of straight black lines that begins at the back of her neck and travels to the end of her tail, almost appearing as a solid stripe in the dark.
In terms of sizing and build, Dogkit is a little bit of an odd mix of being lithe, but also bulky. Her legs, long and lanky with bolder shoulders, are the length and width of a cat who can most definitely carry their speed and stride. But, in comparison, her torso is a little more thick, as though the top half of her was build to withstand the cold and provide her leverage and strength should a situation call for it. Though, just because she contains this strength does not mean that she would put it to use in the way some believe she should. In most cases, she takes advantage of her capable legs rather than her muscle strength.
Aside from the rest of her body, this young she-cat has quite the feminine face and features, with softer angles and rounder eyes.A red nose outlined in black adorns the end of her muzzle, long white whiskers jut out from different angles of her face, and quite pale green eyes with splashes of yellow in certain lighting finish her appearance.[/PTab={tab-height:20px;tab-padding:5px;background-color:#15660f;tab-hover-background-color:#5b67a8;"]
[PTab=PERSONALITY]
Dogkit is a very…..interesting feline, to say the least. Many words could be used to describe her, but the one thing that most notice right away is how calm she is for a kit. Not emotional, not excitable, not hyper or playful, just calm. At times it almost appears that this she-cat has no emotions, though that is untrue. She does have emotion and does feel, just as any other cat, she just has a strangely powerful grip over her own mental state at any given point. Some believe that this has stemmed from the she-cat that is raising her, while others believe that perhaps this kit was just born strange. Although at any given point she is calm, this lack of activity is counteracted by how just straight restless she is. She doesn’t jump around or play or really do anything that takes up a lot of energy very often, and even when she does, it seems like she always has a giant amount of energy that causes her to never want to sleep. And when she finally gets tired and finally is even remotely willing to lay down, she full-on passes out, even if she isn’t in a nest or even in the den. If her energy runs out while she is in camp, she will collapse into a sleepy bundle. It isn’t as if she gets so worn out that she collapses, for she doesn’t breathe heavily or wheeze or any of that. She just realizes she is super tired in mere seconds, and then lets herself fall where she stands.
Unfortunately for her clanmates and her mother, nine times out of ten, she passes out while she is in camp or even right outside of camp. The reasoning behind this is that with her calmness comes curiosity and a desire for adventure. While any cat can enjoy exploring, for Dogkit this goes beyond just wanting to see new places. Her inner calling for adventure causes her to wish to see new places every chance she gets. She can often get irritated when she goes to or sees the same place multiple times or stays in one area too long, which is signaled by a large lack of speaking and narrowed eyes. While this desire to see everything and everywhere that she can sometimes is admirable, it also branches off into her growing rather sneaky, meaning it is quite common to find her breaking the rules of no crossing borders. She wants to explore, and she wants to see new places. She wants to know what the world looks like. She can’t see the world by staying inside the boundaries of Nightclan and never leaving. She wants to see what the other clan territories are like too, and since that is forbidden, how else is she to do so except for sneaking off? This will get her in trouble a lot, both with her mother, likely Darkstar, and probably the other clans as well. But she never seems fazed when yelled at or punished. She merely gets even more restless and awaits the next moment she can slip away to explore.
Another thing that many take note of when it comes to this she-cat’s nature is that while she herself doesn’t seem to show much emotion, she is quite perceptive to the emotions of others. She takes a large interest in the facial expressions, body languages, and overall displays of emotion that others demonstrate, watching others very closely at any given point. It is impossible to count how many times she will be seen staring very intently at anyone of interest for seemingly no reason and out of the blue, examining them in search of every emotion she can catch sight of. Although, while this sort of hobby could potentially be a useful tool in the future, her own actions don’t treat this as though it is as important as it is. Rather, she treats this habit of hers in a way one might not expect. She is keen on picking up the auras and emotions of others, yet she is rather cold towards them. If she sees that a cat is upset, she will not show any form of sympathy or make any attempt to help them. If someone is injured, she will treat them as though it is something they must handle without help, even if it is something rather serious. In a way, she takes the rather harsh route of seeing these situations, perceiving them as “something that nature must decide the outcome of” rather than something that can be fixed. This doesn’t just apply to random cats either, this applies to all, even family and friends. She cares deeply for those that she loves, especially her sisters and her mother. But even they stand no chance against nature’s will. If they are meant to fall or be knocked aside, then that is their burden to bear, not hers.
Now, while all of these things on their own make Dog one strange little cat, there are two particular traits that define her even more than those. If someone were to describe her as imaginative, that would be an understatement. The only time that that brain of hers isn’t ticking is when she sleeps, which, as expressed previous, she doesn’t enjoy doing much of. As a lover of the world around her and of nature, she sees the things around her as far more than others see. Where other cats see small animals as prey, she sees them as living beings that have their own lives, just as the cats do. Where other cats see predators as dangerous beings who are to be feared, she sees them as something very similar; predators are living their lives and doing what they must to survive, just like the cats of the clans do. Trees and plants? Beacons of nature’s growth. The weather? Nature placing its emotions on display. In her eyes, everything has a story, and no matter what it is, these stories always connect back to nature. It is these stories that she either tries to discover in her exploration of the world, or makes up herself as theories. Though, while all of this sounds very inspirational and creative, these stories of hers aren’t always revolved around the world itself. She makes up stories about the cats around her as well, sort of like ‘what if’ scenarios that she comes up with on the spot. But it is these moments when her stories extend to cats around her that things become rather….intense. All of her imagination and creativity and calmness hide a very disturbed young cat on the inside. All cats have a story, but unlike prey and predators and nature, she cannot come up with stories about their lives or what they have gone through, for their stories are in the process of being written right in front of her. Instead, she comes up with situations of cats’ futures. Dark futures, mind you. Something that she is going to become known for doing, something that tends to drive others away from her, is presenting these situations straight to them, regardless of how dark or frightening they are. For example, she, should her story-creating switch be flicked on at the time of encountering another cat, would walk up to a random cat and say something along the lines of “what do you think it would feel like if you were trapped in place and had to watch as you are eaten alive by a lynx?” These are always stated in the form of questions, her curiosity wondering if cats would have answers to what they would do in situations like these. Though, she learns quite early on that asking things like that to cats often results in them running. So, to try and prevent that, she will present the question, allow silence to pass between them for a moment, and then speaks again as though she said nothing, or she will walk away. How quickly she is able to go from asking such disturbing questions to being a sweet little kit again can be very scary to some cats, especially those her age, which is why she most often finds herself alone, or only in the company of cats who know she is this way and do not mind.
Strengths: Composure, imagination, making friends, sensing/seeing others' emotions
Weaknesses: Avoiding sleep, unsettling thoughts, keeping friends, helping others
Likes: Exploring, meeting new cats, being alone, staying awake, coming up with stories
Dislikes: Sleeping, being confined, killing prey, being yelled at
Hobbies: Exploring new areas she's never seen before, making up stories about everything, watching others and how they show emotion
Quirks: A major thing that many are quick to realize about Dog is that she does not believe at all in Starclan. She believes that the belief that dead cats from the past have any spiritual effect on the lives of those who still live is silly. When asked about her own beliefs, she merely states that she believes in the will of nature, not the will of long-deceased felines.
Goals: Explore the world, become a cat her mother and sisters can be proud of

Kithood | One isn’t always born where they are destined to be. Sometimes there are those who are brought into the world in a place where they don’t fit, or a place they are not supposed to stay in for long. Whether this be because they have a greater future somewhere else, or they merely just don’t belong. As it seems, nature decided very early on that this young kit and her sisters were born in a place they didn’t belong.
Born to a lone mother just outside of Nightclan territory, three kits found themselves blind and deaf at the stomach of what would soon be nothing but a corpse. Unbeknownst to the three bundles of fur, the she-cat that birthed them didn’t get to spend much time with them before the claws of their fate stepped in, taking her life from her. By the time this kit and her siblings grew enough to understand their surroundings and begin to live, they found themselves in the paws of Nightclan. Under the watchful eye of their “mother”, Clovermask, the kits were taken in before they could remember anything about where they came from. With their only knowledge being of their clan and their secretly adopted mother, it is only natural that they are raised as proper members of Nightclan, as they are meant to be.
