There had been a ton floating in the tom's mind, not that there wasn't anything ever on his mind. He was constantly battling his thoughts, unable to escape the mighty grasp his mind has on him. The tom was a pure enemy to himself, barely aware of the issue. Two large auditories perked and oscillated, listening for the sounds amidst him. The marbled tomcat listened to birds chirping, pawsteps thudding, and the chattering of his clanmates. Thistlewhisper sat just outside the Warriors' den, lost in his thoughts.
It was becoming dark, the sun starting to set. Sunset. A mixture of luminous lemon and crimson blended together, creating various hues of tangerine to take over the night sky. Crimson, amber and tangerine beams were thrown into the dusty sky, its beautiful colors embracing the heavens gracefully. A lustrous orb of blazing flames was sinking steadily beneath the horizon, bright pink wisps of clouds partially cloaking the magnificent globe. A tenebrous figure stood on a spur of rock, no more than a silhouette against the aesthetic sky; it seemed small and insignificant compared to such grandeur.
He had been attempting to accumulate his thoughts and anxiety, mustering up the courage to speak to his bully of a brother. He was bemused as to why Antflame despised him so much, or maybe it was the immaturity. Molethroat, on the other paw, grew to be rather mature, but still not the nicest feline around. Antflame was just purely a raging fire, constantly being fueled by gasoline. The tom rushed with boiling adrenaline, coming after Thistlewhisper. It was a chase that Thistlewhisper always gave into, listening to his smaller brother's taunts and bitter words.
The tomcat inhaled sharply, hoisting himself upward. His steps began to become heavy, marching toward his sibling. Thistlewhisper was fed up with the tension between his siblings, feeling as if it'll never end if it's not confronted or situated. Thistlewhisper ascended forward, taking notice of his brother, Antflame. He wasn't with Molethroat, but rather by himself. The achromatic-marbled tom penetrated his gaze toward Antflame, stern and stoic, "We're going for a walk, talk, hunt, whatever," He scoffed, tearing his gaze from Antflame, "No complaints, no questions, bird-brain." He added briskly, pleased with the way his words rolled of his tongue.
He hadn't normally spoken to Antflame like that, usually being the one to get insulted and pushed around. Though, Thistlewhisper figured the only way to get him to listen was to speak the way he was spoken to. The larger tomcat brushed passed the smaller warrior, glimpsing back over his shoulder, awaiting for Antflame to follow. "We are heading into Little Woods. I figured that's a decent place for a walk."
