Currantpaw is an average sized tortoiseshell she-cat with dull yellow eyes. She has short fur that tends to let rain and snow slide right off of it without sticking for too long. But because of how short her fur is, she does get colder faster during the colder seasons and days. Being a tortoiseshell cat, her fur coloration has a mixture of blacks, reds, oranges and browns in it. But the majority of her fur tends to be that of black, a dull red, and orange. This makes her look almost like a flame with how there is more red and orange than black in her coloration.
Her chest and throat are more of a yellow color though, giving her fur a brighter look there. This yellow fur is around her right eye as well, as well as on her paws. Her ears seem to look to be a little bigger than average, but upon a closer look, they aren't. They just look like it because of how they stand and move when she is listening to everything around her. PERSONALITYRight of the bat, the first thing that seems to be noticed about Currantpaw is that she is a silent she-cat. She talks, she knows how, she's just shy and likes to be quiet. Instead of talking instantly, she is able to quietly watch ad observe, making it slightly easier for her to be able to read the room. She is able to judge on if she should say something, or if she should just try to find her way out of the situation that she is currently in. But, she won't ever leave a cat in distress or to the bullies. She might not talk, but she will be that moral support that just stands by another cat's side. Her shy nature seems to tie into her gullible nature though at the same time, and that tends to get her into trouble at times. She has a hard time telling when another cat is being sarcastic or joking around with her, and because of this, she tends to fall for whatever is being told to her. Someone could tell her that there is a mouse right under her paws, and depending on how it's said, she might even believe it. Of course, she isn't always this gullible, mainly just when she's tired or really nervous.
Currantpaw can be hurt by another cat many, many times and she won't seem to learn that she needs to stop forgiving that cat. She doesn't like to have enemies, so she will forgive another cat almost instantly. This tends to come from the compassion that she holds, because she wants to be able to say that she is friends with all kinds of cats. She wants to be able to help others and take care of them if they need it. Because of this, she likes to really put herself into her training. She likes to make sure that she isn't doing anything wrong and that she is doing things perfectly. She is more of a visual and paws-on learner, but she can make do with just verbal instructions, sometimes. She does seem to have a stubborn streak, if a cat is able to find that streak at least. It tends to come out around those whom she trusts the most, because she feels no fear of being ridiculed or anything of the like.
But no matter how stubborn she might get, she will still be a respectful she-cat, because she knows that all cats have gotten their ranks for a reason. A warrior is a warrior because they deserved to become a warrior. She doesn't like to treat those who are older, the same age, or even younger than her with disrespect, wanting to be sure that everyone is treated fairly and the same by her. This leads to her complete honesty. Sure, she knows that she can lie, but she chooses not to. She knows that lies can lead to fights, and she'd rather avoid those at all costs unless it is absolutely necessary.
She likes to try new things, but she will take it slow and judge how things can be done, or just to see what others might think. She isn't one to simply blindly follow, though with her gullible nature, it might try to prove differently. She might follow to a point, but up to the moment of actually doing what it was that she was convinced to do, she can, and sometimes, breaks free of the compulsion and goes back to whatever it is that she is supposed to be doing. She won't even rat someone out, because that's a sign of disrespect to her. But, if someone asks her about something, she won't lie and she will tell the absolute truth, even if it gets her into trouble as well. HISTORYFamily: Mother: Bloomface Father: Blazetalon Liter Mates: Ebonypaw & Flamepaw
Kithood: Currantkit was born apart of Bloomface and Blazetalon's first liter. Along with her, she had a brother who was seconds older than herself, Flamekit, and a sister was was seconds younger than herself, Ebonykit. As they grew up, Bloomface proved to be an overprotect mother, and because of this, she never really let the kits go out and explore, at least, not until Blazetalon stepped in and insisted that they get to know their clan now instead of later. Bloomface had reluctantly agreed, but the damage had been done already. Flamekit was a bully, it showed daily as he made fun of Currantkit's shy and quiet nature. Ebonykit tried to stick up for Currantkit, but Flamekit always rebounded and called her the runt of the liter, which she had been. Flamekit seemed to make friends out of the other kits who liked to make fun of other cats, while Ebonykit and Currantkit stuck together, making the two she-kits partners in crime, well lack there for crime.
Apprenticeship: The beginning of Leaf-fall came, and Currantkit was renamed to be Currantpaw. Her new life as an apprentice starts now.
