Beauty is a joy that forever increases
It will never pass into nothingness
It will never pass into nothingness
She breathed in the cool and crisp air. Oh she loved Leaf-Fall. The changing of the seasons was so beautiful and almost magical in it's change as it went from green to golden as the leaves fell from the trees to make a cute crunching sound as you walked over the piles on the ground. Granted, Leaf-Fall also meant that they didn't have as many options for prey as certain animals skittered here and to into hiding for the cold weather. The pale cream ginger tabby lightly batted at the first leaves to fall from the tree as she made her way towards the brooks. She liked this area the most because of the calming waters and the leaves scattered along it's surface. She'd come out here often enough for fun and to think.
She'd decided that she'd be honest with herself and with a certain someone. Oh no not feeling of romance hanging in the air around her. She had a secret though that she didn't tell anyone...But it was far time that she finally tell him she knew his secret. Sitting on top of a root that jutted from a big tree by the water side she waited. Ears perked up awaiting the sound of footfalls to come her way. She'd waited for a good moon or so before she decided that she had to tell him she knew about his secret. She didn't want to hide that she knew since it wasn't her business but she couldn't ignore what she'd heard. Her blue eyes stared at the brook; growing hazy as she remembered.
She ducked through the brushes towards the border; having decided she needed to hunt. She was going to hunt and give the prey to the elders for supper this evening. She had gone out along because she didn't feel up to having company but in all honesty she didn't want others to see how weak she was when it came to hunting. Hunting wasn't her best skill and her tradition for praying over the dead animal after killing it wasn't something that others thought was needed; she was spiritual though and she refused to stop her habits. She was nearing the creek border when she heard voices. At first she thought that some of her clan mates had come out on a border patrol and smiled big just about to walk out when she, through the leaves of the brush saw who was standing there. She had to blink to make sure she wasn't seeing doubles. And then her curious nature got the best of her and her ears perked up in alertness to listen in on the conversation. Her eyes widening the more she heard....
the crunch of leaves and rustling sound made her snap back with a startle and she whipped her head around to look over her shoulder at the figure who strode towards her. He was young and handsome in his own right. He was only a few moons younger than herself but he seemed to have his own life together unlike herself...She gave Glacierspring a warm shy smile.
"Thank so much for meeting me here Glacierspring! I'm so sorry for taking you away from your duties but I had something important I had to tell you and I couldn't wait anymore" she rushed out with sincere eyes as she turned to face him. She was smaller than him as he was rather tall and lanky compared to her smaller lithe figure and he didn't show much emotions around others but seeing as he was around her age Primrosepetal wanted to be friends; she feared though the conversation would blot out any forms of ideas about that.
"U-Um so...for a moon or so I've been hiding this secret about you..." she squirmed awkwardly and looked down at her paws. 'oh just spit it out you stupid girl! He's not going to wait forever for you to spit it out Prim!' she chided herself before taking a breath.
She raised her head quickly to look up at him with big blue eyes as she blurted her next words out. "I know about you and that Lightningclanne!"
