Gender: She-Cat
Rank: Kit
Clan:LightningClan

Appearance Summary: A medium fur calico she-cat with yellow eyes.
A single born kit, Dandelionkit bares a striking resemblance to her birth mother, Lilydawn. Both she-cats are well built with a unique calico pattern. Dandelionkit has more white fur compared to her mother and a few patches of her orange fur allude to a tabby pattern. Bright amber eye express deep emotion, Dandelionkit is very readable. Known to twitch her nose like that of a rabbit when nervous. Nursery-mates will go on to tease her for it, often bringing the overly sensitive Dandelionkit to pitiful cries.
Luckily as she matures, Dandelionkit will fill out a bit more. She'll take after her father's side of the family by being well built for the active lifestyle of LightningClan cats. Her limbs will shape up to ensure she is surefooted and fast, her coat will remain thin to keep her cool while running. Unlike several members of her family, Dandelionkit will have a full-length tail and use it to her advantage.

Personality:
+ Honest
+ Curious
+ Observant
- Emotional
- Compliant
- Nervous
Taking after her namesake, Dandelionkit is average compared to those in her family. Her sire's family having been known to be great warriors, leaders, and healers of their Clan. Her biological mother known for her excellent hunting skills, the rest of her family similar in their notoriety. Dandelionkit is far too emotional and compliant to break out and make herself known. She remains content to remain on the sidelines. To some, it seems almost pitiful given her lineage.
Dandelionkit in early moons of her apprentice will not understand why she doesn't have the same ambition as her ancestors. She will struggle to rush into the fray of the battle, too concerned with the outcome to focus on what to do at the moment. Every emotion felt by Dandelionkit is read easily on her face, trusting her with a secret is ill-advised. Asking her to deliver bad news an impossible task.
Her emotions are not just her largest flaw, but her biggest triumph. Dandelionkit loves deeply and with those she loves she will do her best to keep happy. An excellent listener, Dandelionkit is the one cat you want to talk to after a bad hunt or nasty fight. She will always be there to sit close to and say everything will be okay. She has this way of saying such a phrase that believing her is easy.

History:
Lilywish and Morningheart, fell madly in love early in their days as warriors. Both content to remain kit-less. They devoted all their days to each other, thankful to LightningClan's open views on their type of relationship.
As the years went by and she-cats their age started to have kits of their own, Lilywish and Morningheart remained content in their relationship. Happy to be just the two of them.
Until a fateful day. Lilywish's sister had gotten ill and left the care of her two kits to Lilywish while she was tended to in the medicine cat's den. Lilywish only looked over them for a few days but spending time in the nursery was like something else entirely. She went excitedly to Morningheart talking for hours about the kits and her time spent watching over them. It was Morningheart that suggested they have a litter. Lilywish, admittedly a bit confused by her mate's statement, asked the most obvisous question, how?
They were both she-cats and even with StarClan's blessing not capable of having their own kits. Morningheart brought up the famed couple of Flashbrook and Burningleaf who had adopted their own loner-born brood. Lilywish agreed that would be possible but also pointed out that it had been out of pure luck.
After a few nights up late talking about it, they came to a conclusion. They'd ask their old friend Wildcall, a warrior they had grown up with and admired. Adding him to the conversation and discussing the best way to go about things, it was decided that Lilywish would be the mother to their litter. While there wouldn't be an expectations of Wildcall to parent the future offspring, it was left over if he wanted to check in from time to time.
Lilywish embraced pregency with ease despite her age putting her at higher risk. Morningheart wanted nothing more then to provide her kit with best of things. She spent long hours hunting and tending to Lilywish in the nursey.
Once the fateful day came, Morningheart sat at her mate's side as they welcomed their daughter into the world. They agreed Dandelionkit would be a suitable name for her. Exhasuted as they both were, they watched over their mircale and wished all sort of happiness to befall their daughter. They wanted for her the grandest and most joy filled life.
Lilywish however, would not see that life by any means. Somehow infection set in. How it happened couldn't be explained by the knowledge of the cats. Lilywish died several days after Dandelionkit's birth.
Instead of falling into dispair, Morningheart continues to tend to Dandelionkit. She is her daugther first, her grief secondary.
