Name: Wolftail
Age: 26 moons
Gender: tom
Clan: Rainclan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description:
Wolftail is what most would think of when they think of a typical tom. He has always been a large cat, with long limbs and a thick body hidden underneath his pelt. Wolftail is a light grey and white cat with black ear tips and tabby stripes along his back and tail with a thick pelt. His eyes are a startlingly bright shade of amber and when the sun catches them just right they look almost golden. He earned his name as a kit from his distinctly bushy tail and thick grey coat. He is easy to spot among a crowd due to these features.
Description Summary: Large grey and white tom with a thick coat and amber eyes
Personality:
Protector. Energetic. Friendly
Protector: From the time he was a small kit, Wolftail has always had a protective streak a mile wide. He has a sense of justice and care that run deep within him that drives him to stand up for those who are weaker or who are unable to do so themselves. This was fostered by the fact that his sole littermate, a sister, struggled from the get go. When she was finally able to leave the nursery, Wolftail always made sure he was there to watch after her, though nothing was likely to happen inside the camp walls, he refused to leave her side. Since then he has always desired to be the strongest he can be to protect his clanmates. He can often be found in the thickest part of battles, due to his protective streak and burly size.
Energetic: His mother has often told him that there is no end to the energy that flows from within him. When he was small, Wolftail loved racing around camp with the other kits and playing different games to occupy their time. As an apprentice, his mentor would call him “enthusiastic” a mild way of saying he never wanted to stop going. Always wanting to learn something new. As a warrior he is much the same, always wanting to do something to help out, to keep him moving.
Friendly: Wolftail never met a stranger. From his first steps out of the nursery when he bounced up to an elder to introduce himself, to his first gathering when he once again stepped right up to a group of apprentices to say hello, he has always been welcoming and inquisitive. He’s the first to make apprentices welcome and new warriors feel included. You can often find him chatting with other warriors over nothing at all, that is when he does finally stop going.
Pushy: Because he is so protective by nature, Wolftail tends to push others into what he believes to be the best thing for whatever the issue at hand. Although all he wants is to keep them safe, his attitude towards handling has a tendency to grate on other cats’ nerves, which in turn irritates Wolftail because he doesn’t understand why they can’t see he’s only trying to help.
Reckless: desperate to keep others safe, and full of energy himself, Wolftail will often charge into battle with no real thought to the consequences for himself. He’s usually in the worst part of the fight and often doesn’t stop to strategize. Though some call it brave, others call it reckless and question his thoughtlessness.
History:
Kit: Wolfkit often spent most of his kithood playing games with the other kits or trailing after his sister (usually both) to make sure she was safe. He enjoyed hearing the elders tell stories from the past and he loved when the occasional warrior would bring he and the other kits stories from the days patrols or talk to them about the warrior code. It was from these tales that he developed a strong sense of what it truly meant to be a warrior, loyal to your clan.
Apprentice: Wolfpaw was apprenticed to (insert cat’s name here) and from there he wanted to learn everything he absolutely could. He wanted to be the best fighter and hunter in the clan and grow strong so he could keep his clanmates safe in battle. He would often bug his mentor to take him out multiple times a day to practice hunting and battles moves, and when he wasn’t out he would practice in camp with his den mates. Because of his size, he excelled quite well in battle training, a natural right from the start. He was average at hunting, never quite as quick as other apprentices, but strong and clever. He worked hard to improve these skills as time went on.
Warrior: In his first moon as a warrior, Wolftail’s sister met two rogues while on patrol and though the patrol outnumbered the rogues, his sister was killed in the ensuing fight by a too hard blow from one of the cats as it fled. Wolftail mourned for the loss of his littermate, angry with himself for not being there to keep her safe. He struggled with this for many moons before he finally realized there was nothing he could do. From that point forward he put all his grief into keeping his clanmates as safe as possible.
