Treeclan 33 Moons She-Cat

It was a fairly pleasant day, the temperature had been less intense since the storm that had run rapid through the valley not too long ago, causing floods withing the territories. The ground was still soft, but the sun was out and only a few clouds hung within the blue sky. 

The ginger coated she-cat made her way through the undergrowth of Treeclan's territory, feathered tail flickering behind her in a relaxed fashion. Sure steps led the slender feline towards her destination of the Lightningclan border. 

Which had changed at the beginning of Greenleaf and the change in leadership within their moorland living neighbors. 

It was a simple border patrol, check the and re-scent along Treeclan's side, keep things fairly calm and simple. Especially with such hostilities between them and their other bordering clan, Nightclan. To make matters worse, the shadow abiding warriors had now resorted to stealing prey off of Treeclan territory. 

Irritation flickered within the amber gaze of Redbird before she twitched an ear and it disappeared. Now was not the time to get frustrated, besides she wanted to focus on her young apprentice and not the problems the clan had been having of late. 

She'd worry about those when she wasn't enjoying training young minds. 

Duckpaw wasn't the only cat with her, though Timberfrost and her older apprentice Briarpaw were farther down  the invisible border line. Her gaze flickered to the young tom near her flank, watching as he looked over at Lightningclan's wide open territory. 

"To think they live without the shelter of trees." The Somali she-cat shook her head with a good-natured smile. Her feathered tail flickered once more as she moved her train of thought towards something she had decided to stick her nose into. 

"You know, I helped Robinpaw with her apprentice chores the other day." The older feline started, referring to when she had helped the younger she-cat bring new bedding to the elders. "You were suppose to be there, care to explain why you weren't?" 

Granted, as his mentor, Redbird should reprimand her apprentice and possibly give him some sort of punishment for skipping duties and landing them on his sister. But she was aware something was amiss between the two siblngs, and her own bond towards Foxfur had her curious about their situation.
