Owlmind
LightningClan || 66 Moons || Deputy
The winds of change were coming.
Life was to change and move to adjust and that was just what Lightningclan was doing. With the shift in leadership, both leader and deputy were working endlessly to bring their clan to new highs and future powers. Not long after Redstar had returned with his name and nine lives, the gray feline named as his deputy went and reclaimed the border they 'shared' with Treeclan.
Now Owlmind was setting up clan wide training sessions to improve battle strategies, techniques and skills. She encouraged all the quick tempered, feisty and battle ready warriors to report to the meeting. Apprentices were also welcomed as they were still learning, and anyone else willing to improve this singular ability in case war happened to be around the corner.
Despite the bloodshed waiting in the future for Nightclan and Treeclan, it wouldn't be unheard of if the others were dragged into a massive valley wide collision. It wouldn't be the first time, and the aging feline knew it probably wouldn't be the last.
Finishing up her duties for the time being, the sun rising within the sky as the dry day continued to drag on. Patrols had been assigned and hunting schedules laid out as she sent cats along their way. Letting her wide, amber eyes flicker towards the Nursery where Cloudyfeather lay out in the sun with the deputy's three growing kits, Owlmind finally made her way towards the exit of Lightningclan's camp and towards the trampled clearing where she was sure Nightstep was waiting with their trainees.
It was a swift walk to where the scents of her clanmates were waiting and within no-time the gray feline slipped past Nightstep's tuxedo form towards the waiting group of cats. She had asked the black and white tomcat to assist her in this training session as he was well known for his powerful battle prowess. He had done well training future warriors, defending the clan and fighting off badgers this past season.
"The valley is on edge, Treeclan and Nightclan on the verge of battle. While this does not concern Lightningclan, we can't be too careful. When pressed, other clans have been known to come to the aid of one another. We ourselves are pushing and expanding our strength, we have taken back the Open Woods!" Owlmind's rasp was strong as she let those wide eyes look over each cat sitting there, waiting on her to continue. She had always managed to capture attention and hold gazes, she was smart, crafty and strategical.
She and her brother would lead Lightningclan to glory and prosperity.
"We need to increase out skills when it comes to battle training. We need to be quicker, stronger and fiercer, like Lightning it's self. We will be going over basic maneuvers, intense maneuvers, strategy and double teaming. We will show the other clans that they can't push around Lightningclan." Flickering her long tail, the lanky feline slowly padded a circle around the clearing, eyeing each of her clanmates who had decided to show up before she paused next to Nightstep's unmoving stature once more.

Wisdom. Courage. Strategy.
