Piketooth felt restless. There was an air of tense expectation sweeping the camp after Swanfeather's death.

He'd done as he promised, stood vigil for her. He'd noticed, from his silent position of respect, that only Dewfrost had really stayed with the former medicine cat the whole time. Other cats had stayed with her, but not indefinitely.

What a waste.

Her talent as a healer was invaluable to the Clan. Dewfrost, though still young, had learned so much... but still had so much to learn. All that was ended rather abruptly. Poor Dewfrost - Piketooth made a mental note to check in on the young cat when he had time.

His restless feet had carried him to Silverstar's den. Though, now that Piketooth thought about it, he hadn't seen Silverstar in a while. Maybe he should check on him, too?

Stopping outside the entrance to the den, he called in"Silverstar, may I talk to you?."

What a mess. His head was still reeling over the events that had happened over the last few days. Swanfeather dead, and his world turned upside down. Daughters turned against one another and it seemed both mad at him for his choice. Or acting out in her pain. He'd never been particularly paternal, but he wondered if going to the medicine den and drowning Dewfrost in his silver fluff would calm her down. He had to admit he missed his sweet tempered daughter turned medicine cat. There was no reason for her to act the way Swanfeather had. She didn't have to be the other she-cat to be a great medicine cat. He wondered if she realized that fact.

He was pulled from his thoughts by someone calling his name from outside his den and rose, flicking his fluffy tail out behind him and pulling himself back into the mindset of a leader before he came out to greet the warrior. "Certainly? Is something wrong Piketooth?"

He hoped there was no further bad news, he didn't need anymore.
