Name: Skykit - Skypaw - Skychaser
Age: 39 Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: Rainclan
Rank: Warrior
Picture: Skykit Skypaw Skychaser 1 Skychaser 2 Skychaser 3
Description: This tom is average in size, not too large nor to small in stature. He has a very streamline body, and is generally proportionate all the way around. With his short fur it keeps him fairly cool in the hotter moons, though it does nothing to keep him warm during the coldest moons. However, with his streamline form it makes it easy for him to swim and fish, not to mention the rain generally slips off his pelt. Unless he takes a dip in the river, then he will be a wet furball. His fur is stark white in color, and the only time he manages to blend into his surroundings is when snow is covering the ground. With a narrow head, long muzzle and pointed ears the most striking part about this cat has to be his almond shaped eyes. One is a pale blue while the other is a light mix between hazel and pale green. Despite this being an uncommon feature, he rather likes his eyes and find them to be his best feature.
Description Summary: A streamline white tom with duel blue and green eyes.
Personality: Despite being raised by narrow minded purists, this tom is a very open-hearted, kind and gentle warriors. He is most definitely a lover and not a fighter. Forging his own path, Skychaser learned from a young age, and a multitude of roll models around him that despite where you come from, or what blood you have, if you are apart of Rainclan then you are family. This tom is very loyal to those around him, and would do anything to keep not only the peace within his clan, but to keep his clanmates safe. A hard worker and a gentle-tom, he will always put the needs of she-cats, queens, elders and kits before his own. There are often many times he forgets to feed himself because he is too busy making sure others have eaten. He has a very polite and kind disposition, as well as a big heart he generally wears on his shoulder. He absolutely loves kits, being around them as they play or telling him stories that he liked to listen to when he was a kit. Confident but not at all conceded or arrogant, he is sure about his abilities but is always willing to listen to comments or criticism, as there is always room for improvement. He is quick to shut down any purist ideas that come from older warriors, or purist cats themselves. He has seen too much death and loss for those types of ideals to ruin Rainclan again. He is not the smoothest talker when it comes to a she-cat, and if one is over attentive towards him, he finds himself stumbling over his paws and his tongue.

History:
- Kithood: Skykit was the only kit in his litter, and he was gifted to two purist idolizing warriors of Rainclan: Whitefrost, a white she-cat that looked identical to her son, and her mate Troutstripe, a gray tabby tomcat. From a young age, they attempted to instill their believes and ideals onto their only son, they believed their clan should only be made of pure-blooded cats, and despised those who had dirty blood or were not originally from Rainclan. As he got older, Skykit learned that he didn't enjoy how his parents pushed their thoughts onto him, nor did he believe that what they thought was correct or very warrior like. Against his parents wishes, Skykit grew to be friends with Lizardkit and Glowkit, two half-clan kits who were the same age as him. He also found himself rather drawn to the old she-cat named Timberwing, who had recently become the deputy under Razorstar. He enjoyed listening to her stories, and found that he liked how she viewed the world. No matter where a cat came from, if they were your clanmates they were your family.
- Apprentice: Skypaw became an apprentice right at the start of the Civil War, he was one of the first apprentices named by Timberstar once she became leader, alongside Glowpaw and Lizardpaw. To the horror of his parents, Skypaw adamantly refused to join them as they succeeded from the clan with the rest of the purists. Angry at his decision to back those who were pure of Rainclan blood, Troutstripe and Whitefrost disowned their only son. Despite the sting of practically being abandoned for what he believed, it didn't keep him down long. Skypaw was given to Larkwing, a young she-cat who believed similarly to him. The two got along very well, and he worked hard for her, despite the dangers of being an apprentice during the time of the split clan. When Skypaw wasn't with Larkwing, he was generally with the two sisters he had grown close to, finding them to be his best friends. Though as the grew, he slowly grew a crush on Glowpaw. Skypaw continued to look up to Timberstar, impressed with her strength and her heart, as all she wanted was for Rainclan to be whole again. Her behavior instilled his beliefs and strengthened his resolve that no matter where his clanmates might have come from, they were all Rainclan and they deserved the loyalty of their clanmates. Unfortunatly, the purists didn't believe that and violent attacks were their way of trying to root out the bad blood. There had even been a point in time when Skypaw was forced to face down his own father when his hunting patrol had been attacked. Tragedy struck when they were ambushed, and despite the hard fighting warrior, Larkwing was gravely injured. Skypaw attempted to save his mentor by dragging her dying body back to camp, unfortunately she didn't make it, her life fleeting away once they returned.
- Warrior: In honor of his fallen mentor and his hard fought battle, Timberstar named him Skychaser that very night. Of course, he would eventually be one of her last warrior ceremonies, though he didn't know that at the time. She sat there as he mourned over the lost of Larkwing, a cat he had grown extremely close with during their training. He was pleased with the comfort of his leader, and Glowpaw as she sat with him. He sat vigil and the next day congratulated Lizardleap and Glowflower as they earned their own warrior names. It wasn't too much later that Skychaser felt his heart get ripped in half once more, not only did Glowflower lose her life to the claws of the purists, but Timberstar's reign as leader was brought to a screeching halt due to the purists. Even Bluewave, the deputy under old Timberstar, didn't make it out of the civil war with his life. As he mourned the loss of the two she-cats, he never once blamed those who were loyalists, but the harsh and horrid decisions of the purists who believed murdering cats was better than those with dirty blood. It was at this point that he was tired of the bloodshed, tired of the battle and only wanted it over so that his clan could once again be whole. When the new leader gave the purists the option to come back, Whitefrost and Troutstripe took the bargain and came home with their two young daughters, Ivorykit and Graykit. Despite the fact that his parents still refuse to speak to him or claim him as their son, he attempts to have a relationship with his younger siblings, after all they are still family. Once everything had settled down within the clan, Skychaser was finally appointed his first apprentice. He was a young and fairly impretional cat, spent most of his life in the Purists camp where he was born. His name was Tidepaw and he didn't really know whether or not to believe the side he grew up on. Skychaser happily pasted down the love and affection he gained from his role models and taught Tidepaw with patience and care and understanding. With Rainclam being relatively peaceful, it didn't take Tidepaw long to become Tidestorm. Skychaser also aided the last half of Ivorypaw's training when the old cat that was announced her mentor passed away. He was pleased with the fact that both she and Graypaw's were weary of their aprents views and that they actually enjoyed spending time with Skychaser. He was more than thrilled when they became Ivoryrose and Grayleaf.
