Falconblaze
Don't Worry, Be Happy
Hakuna Matata!
What a wonderful phrase
Hakuna Matata!
Ain't no passing craze
Massive white paws led the handsome tabby from Redscar and the others were huddles around waiting for their instructions as dawn slowly seeped it's way into the world. It was a fairly chilly morning, the sky was graying from black as pink and blue streaked up from the bottom near the horizon. The clouds were near absent but the breeze held a bit of a bite to it, not that it bothered the thick coated Maine Coon.
Wind was apart of Lightningclan life.
Making his way to the apprentice den, there was a mission upon the lazy tom's mind. His deputy was going out with his sister today, and therefor asked if the younger warrior could take Lynxpaw out for a hunt. While Falconblaze enjoyed doing things at dawn, he usually preferred the less active route of walking along a border, patrolling it for any unusual actives.
And with him never having an apprentice, this would be his first experience in a training like situation.
The brown tabby and white tom poked his head into the den, memories of when he and his sister were apprentices flashed through his mind and a purr of amusement rose from his throat at the fact that his lazy behavior had yet to change since then. Something Heronscreech has always despised with a passion.
"Lynxpaw!" Falconblaze mewed in his friendly, somewhat natural flirtatious voice in an attempt to gain the fluffy apprentice's attention. Those golden pools of his lit up when he saw an ear twitch with affirmation. With a swish of his plume tail, the handsome tomcat pulled his head from the entrance to lower his haunches and curl his tail around his massive paws.
"Hey Fluff." He purred affectionately as the pretty she-cat made her way from the den to join him, a smirk almost curled on his maw as his whiskers twitched. He was well aware that he wasn't actually mentoring the younger she-cat today, but he couldn't help feel a glow of pride at the fact that he had been asked to help Redscar out for the day.
Falconblaze's ego was definitely stroked at the moment.
"Redscar is doing some training stuff with Owlmind today, so i'm taking you out hunting." His tone was once again rumbled by a purr as it exited his muzzle, gold hues slowly running over Lynxpaw's fluffy form and nubbed tail. Standing, the massive tomcat flicked his plume tail to gently brush her shoulder, his natural flirtatious side showing as he turned to lazily trot towards the entrance of the camp.
Glancing over his shoulder, those golden pools captured Lynxpaw's own gaze. "Any preferences on where we hunt today?"
