Crowpaw
The white she-cat bounced into StarClan's Claws with every bit of her usual exuberance, not put off for a moment the cats gathered about; it might have had something to do with just RainClan being present so far. Scampering to the outside of the group of NightClan cats, Crowpaw sniffed at the scents of river water and fish that hung in the air, fighting to keep from wrinkling her nose at the strong odors. Were they so used to that smell that they just didn't notice it? It was so strong!
Closer to the leaders' rock, a she-cat close to Crowpaw's size sat- another apprentice, maybe? Hopefully? She'd only find out if she asked, and Crowpaw had no trouble trotting over to do so. "Hi!" she chirped in greeting, tail waving as she blinked at the dark-pointed she-cat. "I'm Crowpaw- what's your name?"

Shadepaw
Step by careful step, concentrating on Bumbleshade's tail where it rested against her shoulder, Shadepaw followed the group. Pride at being allowed to come made her step lighter than normal; her only wish was that Mudpelt or one of her family had come too. She'd promised to be good, to mind what she was told- not that she needed to be told- and then they were off.
The cool of the evening was exciting, but there was no time to stop and take in the scents or sounds around her. She'd paused just once, but the sounds of the patrol moving on ahead had sent her scurrying to catch up. She'd bumped into a solid flank, spouting out an apology, pleased to hear a rumble of amusement in place of irritation. That was when the tail had draped across her shoulders, and she'd used that for the remainder of the trip.
The overwhelming scents of the other four Clans were strong, so different, and her ears were full of voices and the constant noise of paw steps and rustling grass, punctuated by the scrape of claws against stone from time to time. A bit unsure now, Shadepaw hesitated close to one of the five pointed rocks. Bumbleshade's tail slid away and she was alone, trying to make sense of what was going on and trying to muster up the courage to pad among the horde of chattering and pacing cats.
