The cold winds of Leaf-bare were a welcome change for the grey queen, after all it mean that her devious little furballs otherwise known as her 'darling' kits would be released into camp and torture  the rest of the clan with their unique personalities. It was not Ghostkit or even Crowkit that she worried about, but Graykit was proving a menace that even she could not control and after the kit's escape into Treeclan territory, the devil had Lilyfrost's eyes trained on her at all times. The gray warrioress was not in the mood for another lecture from Foxstar, about of all things, parenthood. 


Deep down she wished Pinewhisker had not had to step down, she hated Foxstar almost as much as Bonetail had hated Dimstar when he was alive. It was this mood that she was in that had her seek out the former leader,who just moons ago she was announcing her pregnancy to, and whom was  now reduced to light duties due to her injuries. " Pinewhisker?" the queen called softly, her voice gentle but held no pity. Lilyfrost was smart enough to know that Pinewhisker did not want her sympathy, or maybe even her company but the queen needed advice and it was safe to speak with Pinewhisker, the russet she cat usually preferred to be alone nowadays anyway. 

" I need your help? Please help me understand why you picked Foxstar as your deputy?' The emerald eyed she cat would keep her opinion on Foxstar to herself for now,but surely asking what positives that Pinewhisker had seen in Foxstar when the latter was a mere warrior would help Lilyfrost attempt to get over her dislike.
