Name: Jade
Age: 38 Moons
Gender: she-cat
Clan: Loner
Rank: None
Picture: Jade
Description: Jade is a slender, small built brown tabby with green eyes that gave her her name. Her fur is a soft brown underneath and streaked with black stripes the length of her body, ending in small black spots at the ends of her paws. There's a small patch of white fur under her chin, the only place where the stripes don't extend. Jade remains healthy but thin due to her life as a loner, her body laden with firm muscle. She carries herself on quiet paws, as much as she can, and moves with grace and confidence to her pawsteps. Her ears remain upright and alert, and often she can be seen scanning the area around her for danger or prey.
Description Summary: A brown tabby she-cat with green eyes.
Personality: Jade is like a still pool of water. Calm and tranquil, with a never ending pool of patience for the world around her and those in it. Jade is a quiet soul and prefers to watch the world as it changes than to make a fuss when things go wrong. She is soft spoken and loyal, deeply devoted to those that she trusts and cares for. She has a strong sense of right and wrong, even as she doesn't belong to or feel welcome among the clans. Though mostly hidden under her calm nature Jade can be fierce and passionate about things that matter to her. Slow to anger and capable of holding a long standing grudge to anyone that breaks one of the rules she lives by Jade tends to get even rather than getting angry. Her anger is cold, and when it comes her slow coming vengeance is swift and vicious.
History: There are several stories her parents told her about where her family came from. They range from wild tales of lands far away to being remnants of another clan that eventually died off to include just them. She was fascinated by these stories as a kit and wondered which one was really true. Her mother Amethyst was prone to tall tales and flights of fancy, which made the mate she'd chosen an odd one. Sturdy and level headed Bracken was the center of the young Jade's entire world. Her father was larger than life, and seemed to her that he knew everything there was to know. He told stories of the clans, of StarClan and the Code and things best left behind. He told her that these clans would only hurt her if she were to approach them, simply because she wasn't part of them.
As she grew her father would teach her how to hunt, and because they lived so close to the waters of RainClan, how to fish and swim. Swimming was something she enjoyed doing and found that she became a strong swimmer and decent fisher as time went on. Shortly after she became what her parents deemed a suitable adult age Jade went to find her own place in the world, often going back to visit her parents their nest and helping when she found that she had new siblings.
Jade's quiet nature pushed her to make her nest in the hollow of a tree, where she could listen to the world around her and find peace with it. It wasn't the raised roots of a tree prone to flood near the water's edge, but the high reaches of the same tree where she could see over the world and enjoy it. She found that alone she would go long frames of time without seeing another cat, and learned quick to hide when other cats did come along. Clan cats would hurt her, her father said, so she hid from them even as she never left the bountiful lands near the river where she never had to worry about starvation.
