Name: Tigerpaw • Tigerstripe
Age: 6 Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: TreeClan
Rank: Apprentice
Picture:
Description: Many aspects of Tigerpaw's physique, and pelt characteristics resemble that of an actual tiger, earning him his name at birth. Much like a tiger, Tigerpaw has the same rich orange and red colors in his pelt, marked by long, dark black tabby stripes. He has a white under belly, and patches of white on his inner legs. Tigerpaw also has white around his muzzle, and a small patch of white fur on his throat. For a young cat he has strong, muscular legs, and unusually large paws with long, sharp claws. His build is sturdy and strong, promising signs that he'll be a powerful warrior one day.
Description Summary: A large orange, and white tabby tom, with green eyes.
Personality: Tigerpaw is considered to be an extremely headstrong cat. He is not easily restrained; impatient of control, advice, or suggestions. He gives little to no thought or care to the warrior code, and this young cat often finds himself in trouble. Tigerpaw likes to do what he wants without guidance, and often thinks about growing up and leaving the clan someday. He does not like the restrictions and regulations of clan life, and frequently considers the idea that clan life might not be suited for him. If he sees prey he wants in another clan's territory, why should borders or silly rules stop him from getting what he wants? If he desires an attractive she-cat, why should what clan she's from stop him from mating with her? There are just so many clan beliefs that don't align with his personal ones.
Tigerpaw is also an extremely extroverted cat. He is eager to strike up conversation with everyone he meets, and even freely talk about the way he feels about things, whether or not it makes him appear arrogant, as he doesn't care what anyone thinks about him anyways. Being as extroverted as he is though, also kind of makes him a bit of a flirt, even as an apprentice. He considers himself to be an attractive cat, and has all the confidence in the world when it comes to she-cats, to the point he even hits on adult she-cat warriors.
He is not at all interested in love though, and his goal is to sire as many kits in the clan, and outside the clan as he can when he is a warrior. Love is not an emotion he is familiar with, with the only cat he really loves being his sister Silverpaw, as she is one of few things that actually tie him to clan life and would make him reconsider going off on his own into the world. He cares for his mother Blackthorn, though not as deeply as his litter-mate. His care for his mother closely resembles mere appreciation for all she has done to care for them when they were weak kits. Tigerpaw despises his father Oakwind, however, as he considers him a weak tom for his quiet nature, and complete compliance for clan life. Tigerpaw makes his dislike for Oakwind known, and his father is growing to resent the cat his son is becoming as well.
History: Tigerpaw and his sister Silverpaw were born to two warriors of TreeClan; Blackthorn and Oakwind. The two cats were young lovers, who developed feelings for each other as apprentices, that quickly developed into more when they grew older. Although there is shame in having kits young, at 14 moons of age, only one moon after being made a warrior, Blackthorn found out she was expecting their first litter of kits.
Though many in the clan had judged them, and their relationship, Blackthorn didn't care as she was completely smitten with Oakwind, and eagerly looking forward to building a family with him. Moons later she gave birth to a orange tabby tom, and a silver tabby she-cat. Blackthorn and Oakwind both decided on the names Tigerkit and Silverkit.
From a very young age, Tigerkit's personality set in. The young tom behaved poorly from the moment he started walking and talking, and found himself in trouble as soon as he was capable of getting into it. His sister, however, was the complete opposite. She was a quiet, reserved kit, who obeyed the rules that were set in place. It was joked that Tigerkit created enough trouble for the both of them, and frequently tested his parent's patience.
Oakwind and Blackthorn both thought it was something the young kit would grow out of, though that proves to not be true in present day. Now as an apprentice, Tigerpaw still continues to hold the same traits he had developed at a young age, perhaps becoming a part of him permanently. Time will tell though, as he is still young, and there's always room for change. Situations could occur that will either give him a different perspective, or cement the one he currently has.
