Name: Lakefur
Age: 27 Moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: LightningClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description:
Lakefur is an average, medium furred, cinder grey she-cat with silver-green eyes. She is rather plain, with having no white or tabby markings, though her fur does seem to shimmer silver in certain light, much like the reflecting surface of placid water (hence her prefix of Lake). Her nose is a coal gray, and her whiskers are silvery threads, like spider webs shining thin and delicate in soft moonlight. Her medium length fur cushions a feminine figure, making Lakefur seem much more substantial and strong than she really is, which can be to her advantage before her true agility and speed is revealed. In battle, fighting Lakefur is like trying to catch a fish with bare hands. Her nimbleness is due to her lithe, leggy frame, and although light on her paws and elegant, she is thick-boned and can take a fall without complaint.
Strength is not her forte, and neither is stamina, for although she is fast and her strides are long, she has never been conditioned for long travels and constant wandering. Lakefur is a sprinter from her nose to her toes, and it is wise not to put her as a stayer during hunting, for the prey would be as good as gone. If one can catch Lakefur and manage to pin her to the ground, it is likely that the battle is won, but catching a fish with bare hands takes practice, and sometimes a good deal of luck.
Description Summary:
Lakefur is an average, medium furred, cinder grey she-cat with silver-green eyes.
Personality:
Lakefur is not the most social of cats, but her introverted nature hasn't ever stopped her from holding a good conversation or partaking in some lighthearted small talk. Despite her tendency is to linger along the outside of a crowd and avoid conversing with others, this feline is actually quite confrontational in manner and posture. Conscientiousness fuels her arguments, of which are in fact well chosen; Lakefur is not the one to blindly rebel against an idea or call to action unless it infringes on her morals or reason, and she has yet felt obligated to speak out against high authority to this day.
Lakefur is harshly logical, and perhaps in the latter years of her warrior-hood, sympathy and motherly traits will bloom, though in present day, Lakefur hardly seems to be the compassionate type. Her heart goes out to family and friends, and her love is truly the most satisfying and comforting gift she has to offer, though it isn't handed out blindly: it is earned. Lakefur's enemies on the other hand are embraced with a cold, confident stare, burning with an unsettling distaste (and perhaps hatred) to those she deems unworthy of her support.
Lakefur is not one to judge or stereotype, and perhaps it is settling to know that she takes first impressions with a grain of salt. It isn't until after several interactions that she is able to gauge someone's character, and perhaps it is a lack of expertise in reading others, though it has allowed her to surround herself with those whom she best acquaints with even after a few sour apples. Each social occurrence is handled with utmost ease despite her preference of being alone, and her confidence is quite admirable. Lakefur is an icon of independence, and although she is rough and tough on the outside, deep down she really is one of the most loving and caring cats one could possibly come across. Her close friends and family know it to be true.
Lakefur can seem quite abrasive when irritated or annoyed, though her mood (thankfully) doesn't sour very easily. She is very tolerant, but when she does reach a breaking point, her rage is something to be feared. Lakefur's sadness and fear translates to an intense anger and aggression, laying waste to everything and everyone in her path. Oftentimes she hastily retreats to a secluded place when she feels heated enough to snap, though (especially in her apprentice moons) it has been difficult to find a calm place to be alone where she can vent in peace.
Lakefur's morals are the core foundation of her personality, thus they are steadfast and firm. She seems to be a very emotionally and physically grounded character, which is satisfying to some, though can be unnerving and irritating to the wanderers. Her stiff views seem to translate to a renown close-mindedness. She is very capable of understanding jokes and wit, and although she is notably quick witted and smart, she often holds her tongue in response. If she can help it, Lakefur would rather not start a pointless conversation, and this attitude has earned her a "serious" reputation. Her reticence has complicated situations in the past, though it isn't accurately a negative trait: Lakefur has never regretted a single word, adding a certain eloquence to her speech that is oftentimes hard to come by in youth.
Lakefur is a very moral-driven cat, and someone so tied their beliefs usually leans more towards close-mindedness. She is not one to embrace change, more content sticking with tradition. The unknown is most likely her greatest fear, aside from losing her loved ones. Lakefur sees change and new frontier as dangerous variables. Her perspective is firm, and although she may seem to be listening and contemplating something new, the likelihood that she is truly paying attention or considering it is extremely low. Lakefur is just as ignorant and stubborn as cats could come.
Pioneers and sensitive folk beware.
History:
Lakefur was born from an older couple, along with her sister, Mintpelt, and her brother, Mossheart. They grew up in a healthy, pampered lifestyle with very little family conflict, and with their parents as senior and experienced warriors, they were brought up in a very respectful environment. All three kits grew up tightly bonded, a band of relentless kits, though they all three acted quite differently. Mosskit thrived on adventure and intrigue, always on the hunt for change to quench his wild thirst for journey and glory. Mintkit was the perfect acquaintance, willing and lighthearted, though sassy and sharp if provoked. Lakekit was the mind of caution and reason between the three of them, always grounded and defiant of change. The three were very different, and though throughout their lives their personalities have clashed, nothing has torn them apart. They are a formidable team, despite their differences, and no one in Lightningclan could deny it.

Mossheart is a really interesting character. With as adventurous as he is, he still retains some loyalty to his family. Without those he loves surrounding him, it is highly unlikely that clan life would suit him, and Mossheart would most likely find himself wandering, enjoying nature's simplest and fiercest of environments.
He is hardly aggressive, and not nearly as abrasive as his sister, Lakefur, though he still has a spine. He is open minded, and accepts change willingly. He takes everything said to him with a grain of salt, for surely the only opinion that matters of himself and everything around him is his own. He knows little about the outside world, which provokes a sort of drive within him, pushing him to discover unknowns.
If one can't already tell, Mossheart has a burning curiosity that is known to be impossible to quench. Some may think it to be sad, seeing him constantly looking over the next hill, to the mountains, to the horizon, searching for an adventure that his clan life won't ever provide, though Mossheart is hardly sad about missed opportunity. Instead, he looks beyond everything he can see to captivate him and enrich his dreams.

27 Moons - Warrior - LightningClan
Mintpelt is quite the mediator. Constantly stuck between her opposite siblings, she often finds herself negotiating for the good of her family. She doesn't mind handling complicated situations, honing wisdom beyond her moons, though she gets extremely fed up with being a messenger (just because someone doesn't want to do it themselves). Unfortunately, she gets stuck being the middle-man in most situations due to her calming and charming personality.
Mintpelt doesn't easily take no for an answer. Very insistent, this she-cat has a bad habit of being sharp and bitter if things don't play out fairly. She can't stand Lakefur's close-mindedness, and much prefers to avoid her stubborn sister for the company of Mossheart, though she still loves her siblings all the same. The adventures Mossheart and Mintpelt have had will not be mentioned, for the clan would most likely frown upon the dangers they have put themselves in, though the memories are something the two often bask in when they manage to find alone time together, whether it be during spare time or working hours.
