THEY WANNA MAKE ME THEIR QUEEN
Covered in a tiny dusting of snow, Firestar lead her patrol with confidence. Her short stubbed tail bobbed slightly as the leader of LightingClan did her best to avoid sinking too far into the snow. She was perhaps one of the smallest cats in the Clan, it quickly became apparent that snow was not her friend. Glancing behind her, the calico she-cat watched those in group do there best not to overstep their leader. In truth Firestar didn't mind, she knew her strides were shorter and it was difficult to maintain a slow pace in the snow. For a brief moment she almost suggested they go on ahead, but considering they were patrolling the TreeClan border, Firestar wanted to be present.
Her half brother Wildstripe had gotten lost somewhere near the border a few days ago. The details of how he found his way home were vague and Firestar didn't press the issue. Instead she insisted on taking a larger set of cats to make the scent thicker, provide a steadier point of direction for her blind sibling. She had to admit she was angry that he left the camp in such weather conditions but he was her elder, slightly, and deserved respect. The border itself was only a few fox-lengths away and they would arrive promptly.
"Everyone remain on high alert, we need to ensure our scent along the border is strong here," Firestar called out to her group, pleased when they nodded in approval and understanding. She paused only a moment before heading onward again, close to the border she could taste TreeCla scent on the air.
