Name: Foxtrot
Age: 30 moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: StoneClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description: Rugged-looking and tawny, Foxtrot is as red as his namesake an acts twice as feral. He shows a clear example of the red somali in his bloodline, and his pelt is vibrant and eye-catching. His fur is bushy and thick, with light points on his belly and a white mark on his muzzle as if he had dipped his chin in milk. His tail has a darker point at its end, and there is a dark line that runs down his spine. He's larger than average, with a relaxed look to him and a smile constantly on his face. His eyes are a dark yellow, constantly sparkling with some kind of mischief, and he moves with a confident and fluid grace. The tom's tail is so bushy that when he fluffs it up it looks almost like it dwarfs his body, and he often has it raised in the air with a self-assured strut in his step. Foxtrot is rather handsome, and he most certainly knows it.
Description Summary: Large, handsome, red-furred tom with dark yellow eyes and bushy fur.
Personality: Foxtrot is a massive flirt, and it doesn't really matter to him very much who he's flirting with. He's extremely confident and playful about it, and it can be hard to tell half the time if he really means it or not. The tom has a perpetual smile on his face and a spring in his step, and rarely takes anything seriously, enjoying jokes and rarely taking anything too close to heart. He's very free-spirited about relationships, but guards his heart from actually falling in love, which is something which terrifies him. To actually feel deeply romantically attached to another cat would be his nightmare, and if he ever suspects that such a thing might be happening he bails out of the relationship as soon as he possibly can. (doesn't want to catch feelings)
He's a kind and thoughtful cat, soft at heart and not much of a fan of battling. He can hold his own, but tends to be more of a fan of insulting cats from afar than of actually having to exchange blows. He's of the opinion that he can worm his way out of most trouble with a charismatic smile, and so feels very comfortable about bending rules a little.
The tom is very self confident, but his pride is easily bruised if you insult his looks, as he is rather vain. He doesn't like to think that he's not looking his best, and it's easy to get him self-consciously licking his fur into place.
History: Foxkit was an only kit, born to Otterfang and Berryheart during a harsh leaf-bare. From the get-go he was a trouble maker, always sneaking out of the nursery and getting under the paws of every and any member of the clan that he could bother. He showed a great interest in practical jokes, becoming a little terror for the queens and elders while everyone else was up and about during the day. They were all rather grateful when he reached six moons of age and finally got to the stage where he could leave camp and leave them all alone.
Foxpaw became less of a prankster as he grew older, maturing into a headstrong young tom who liked to make snarky remarks and question authority at every turn. He was a nightmare for his mentor, who was burdened with the momentous task of trying to reign him in. It was at around this time that Foxpaw started to get crushes on other cats, and he was a slave to his heart, blowing off training to hang out with whomever he was taking fancy to. He would follow them like a puppy on a string, taking little heed of his mentor. It took a long time, and a lot of brow-beating from his mentor, but eventually the young tom was brought enough into line to be able to be taught what he needed to know. He graduated to warriorhood on time, but not without struggle.
As a young warrior, Foxtrot was still very mule-brained and off kilter. It was only as he joined in more battles and saw more of what it meant to be a warrior that he began to mellow himself and act more responsibly. His attitude remains jovial and free-spirited, but as he has matured he has begun to take much more to heart the need to follow the warrior code, to protect his clanmates, and to show a little more respect for his authority figures...a little.
Other: Bisexual (purchased from the shop)
Fun fact: If you go back a bit in his family tree, you'll see that he's actually related to Minkpaw of LightningClan, he's her first cousin once removed. This happened a while back and no one knew much of it, since it was on of those occasions where a LightningClan she-cat got pregnant and didn't reveal the father.
Foxtrot's mother, Otterfang, had a brother named Oakheart. Oakheart got a LightningClan queen, Tawnyfur, pregnant. Tawnyfur then went on to have a son named Redtail in LightningClan, who fathered Minkpaw with Bramblethorn. Minkpaw and Foxtrot know nothing of their connection and likely never will.
This is mostly because I wanted another somali character but thought it would be unrealistic for the breed to be in more than one clan without a bit of interbreeding going on.
