Cloudpool TreeClan - Queen - 76 Moons
The she-cat felt almost as light as her namesake, which was amusing considering that she had actually gained weight. But that was not important, what was, was the bliss she was currently feeling as her body radiated purrs. Blackwing was leaving camp at a lope, off to hunt some more, his muzzle stretching with a rare smile.
Several cats in camp were looking at the mostly white she-cat with perplexed amusement, but Cloudpool was far too happy to care. Slipping into the warrior's den, she poked her daughter Swandive awake from a nap. The other she-cat groaned, mumbling "Mum? What do you want..." Cloudpool nuzzled her daughter and began to lick her affectionately to wake her up a bit more. "I just want to tell you some good news! Come on, let's find your brother." Swandive suffered her mother to groom her, getting up to follow as Cloudfall nearly bounced back out of the den. It was as if Starclan was putting everything into place, Whiteclaw stepped through the clan entrance with a squirrel in his jaws and a confused look on his face. He dropeed the squirrel on the fresh-kill pile and padded over to his beaming mother and yawning sister.
"Blackwing found me." He said quietly, looking his mother up and down. "Is something wrong?"
Cloudpool shook her head, flicking her ears."No, my precious kits, it is wonderful! But let's wait for Skyfall shall we? He shouldn't be too long... and then we can celebrate together!"
Both warriors nodded at Cloudpool with amused and knowing looks.

SKYFALLWhen it crumbles, we will stand TALL and face it all together
The last thing he'd expected this morning was for him to head out to hunt, only for his father, Blackwing, to lope by him with a strange happy look on his usually solemn features. White ears flicked in alarm, his bi-colored gaze looking a little lost as the black and white tom notified him that Cloudpool was seeking him. Momentary alarm flickered through him, tinged with worry; was something wrong? Surely Blackwing wouldn't have looked so relaxed is something was wrong? An uncertain frown tugged at the corner of Skyfall's lips, his white tail motioning to indicate he was returning to camp.
His churning mind kept him silent most of the way, his companion respecting that silence, much to the white tom's surprise. As they pushed through the camp entrance, Skyfall slowed and indicated for Appleshade to do the same. The beautiful, cream-colored she-cat blinked at him curiously, halting at his shoulder. "My apologies, Appleshade." He mewed quietly, mismatched eyes flicking toward the rest of his family, whom he could see gathered in a little huddle not far off. "Had I known this were to happen, I would... Not have bothered you this morning. Should this be a quick meeting, I'll.. Come find you again?"
There was something almost hopeful behind his level tone, a flicker of something he could not name churning in his chest. In a passing thought, he noticed that this was not an uncommon feeling for him, whenever this particular warrioress was concerned. Strange... He dismissed the thought for the time being, offering her a polite smile as they parted. Straightening his posture, the white senior warrior directed himself toward his family. Just as his gaze landed upon Swandive, Cloudpool and Whiteclaw, Skyfall noticed Swandive nudge their mother's shoulder and whisper something with a wicked grin, though he did not catch the words.
"Swandive, Whiteclaw..." He nodded to each sibling, before slowing to a stop in front of his family, touching noses briefly with Cloudpool and fixing her with a worried stare. "Mother, father indicated you wished to speak with me... Is everything alright?" 56 Moons. TreeClan. Senior Warrior.Swandive probably made a comment about AppleSky XD// @dreamer Fawn // 348 words

Cloudpool TreeClan - Queen - 76 Moons Cloudpool found her tail sticking waving in the air from excitement as she waited to unveil her surprise. Kits! Oh she was so excited, so lucky. Would her kits be happy though? No matter, she would have to wait for Skyfall, before she could find out.
It wasnt long before Skyfall appeared at the entrance, and with Appleshade to boot! A little giggle escaped the she-cat, as she watched her son speaking with the other she-cat. Whiteclaw on the other hand shifted uncomfortably beside Cloudpool, but she swatted him with her tail. "Now, now. You had your chance with her. Just be happy for your brother." The expression on Whiteclaw's muzzle, a mixture of shame and embarassment, made her giggle again.
By then Skyfall had arrived, and his concern made Cloudpool replace her grin with a more serious face.
"No, Skyfall, everything is not well," she murmured, lowering her head to hide a glimmer in her eyes. "Im afraid, I wont be able to be just your mother anymore." SHe lifted her head to reveal bright blue eyes. "I'm having kits!"

SKYFALLWhen it crumbles, we will stand TALL and face it all together
For a moment, his world screeched to a halt. It began with the shift in expression on his mother's features. One moment, she was smiling, the next she wore a mask of deep severity. His pawsteps faltered just so, the tom briefly wondering if he'd done something to upset his white and black furred mother. With his white ears leaning back atop his head, his mismatched eyes desperately searched her expression to decipher what it was she was hiding from them. When she spoke, his confusion only deepened. Won't be able to be just our mother anymore..? He thought to himself, absolutely perplexed.
He'd been about to lean forward to touch his nose to her head questioningly when her head snapped up to reveal her brilliant and mischief-filled blue eyes. And he soon understood why. Swandive was the first to react, the white she-cat leaping up gleefully to nuzzle their mother and bombard her with nonstop questions. Skyfall and his brother, Whiteclaw, were a little slower to react, eyes blinking blankly as they watched the two she-cats interact. It was Skyfall who shook himself out of it first, breathing out in a heavy sigh of relief. The sound was soon replaced by a quiet, but very-present purr.
Stepping around his near-frolicking sister, the white tom touched noses with his beaming mother. "Congratulations, mother. It's no wonder father seemed... Uncharacteristically joyful today. I look forward to seeing our family grow in size." He paused a moment, white tail flicking Whiteclaw's shoulder hard enough to snap him from his daze. "We all are." He emphasized the all, watching as Whiteclaw shook himself to his senses and moved forward to pass on his own congratulations. Skyfall stepped back a moment, giving the black tom some space and catching a strange look from his sister in the process.
He frowned suddenly, tipping his head as though to ask her why she was looking at him so strangely... Only to realize she was now looking somewhere behind him. Following her gaze, he glanced over his shoulder, eyes scanning the area for whatever it was that could draw such a serious look from Swandive. But all he saw was Appleshade chatting to Feathercloud. ...Feathercloud can be loud sometimes, but surely she doesn't deserve that? He wondered to himself, looking back to Swandive. But the she-cat acted as though nothing had occurred, purring to her mother contently now that Whiteclaw was finished.
With none of his questions about Swandive answered, Skyfall slowly turned his attention back to Cloudpool, clearing his throat softly. "Do you.. Have any gender preferences, or names in mind, perhaps?" Offering her a smile most often reserved for her alone, Skyfall added. "Surely you must be praying for another she-kit, to even out the family numbers." 56 Moons. TreeClan. Senior Warrior.Family tiiiiime~// @dreamer // 462 words

Cloudpool TreeClan - Queen - 76 Moons
Cloudpool purred a rattling purr that shook her form and transmitted itself to her equally as excited daughter, who had reacted with joy. Her two sons of course took a few slow moments to process. Boy she had fooled them good. Eventually though Skyfall did congratulate her, followed by a hasty congratulations from a flustered Whiteclaw. Enjoying the attention and affection from her family, she rubbed her cheeks against theirs in turn.
Skyfall was the first to ask about her thoughts, and she was glad to tell them.
"Well, I know your father would like another kit that looks like him, I think he feels overwhelmed by all the white. And I would indeed love another she-cat to get our numbers even! But one can't control Starclan, so we shall see what happens." She smiled brightly. "As for names I do so like Ivykit and Spiderkit for little black kits, and if we have an equally black and white kit, Patchkit is lovely, as is Shrikekit. If we end up having more mostly white kits," she said with a slightly exasperated tone but with a wink at her two snow-white offspring, "We were considering Chervilkit and Palekit."
Despite the loss of her previous litter, which Cloudpool still felt deep in her heart, she was glad that Starclan had given her this one last chance. Of course, she had somehow made the mistake of getting pregnant right before leafbare again, but she had spent and would spend every day until the birth of her kits asking Starclan to spare her kits the fate of their siblings. Just one Starclan, please, just let me have one.

SKYFALLWhen it crumbles, we will stand TALL and face it all together
The white tom listened to his mother fondly, a smile uncharacteristic of his usual solemn-faced self lighting his features. He always loved seeing his mother this happy; he wished only happiness for those he cared most for, and his mother certainly made that list. His mismatched eyes sparkled with genuine interest as she listed off names she'd been considering for just about every coat-type possible from her match with Blackwing. She certainly has put a lot of thought into this. He mused to himself, suddenly curious as to the logic used when it had come to naming him.
Whiteclaw was named, no doubt, after his white paw. Swandive had a coat as white as her namesake's feathers. But... Why Skyfall? What had called to Cloudpool when it came time to give him the prefix of sky? Perhaps he would ask her one day. For now, he had no desire to pull her thoughts away from the coming litter. Not when she glowed with such joy. He nodded thoughtfully, absorbing the names a moment before meowing. "I'm quite fond of Ivykit. It's a beautiful name." His white tail flicked to and fro slowly, his bi-colored gaze considering his mother a moment longer.
With a near-cheeky grin, he added. "If it were up to me though... I'd like to see a kit that looks more like you. White with black patches. And I think Shrikekit is a proud name, fit for the mightiest of all TreeClan kits." He chuckled softly, noticing Swandive shake her head in his peripheral vision. He could also hear her laughing. Before long, his white pseudo-twin stepped forward. "Mom, come share a mouse with me. The boys can come too, I guess~" Swandive meowed with mock-exasperation. Now it was Skyfall's turn to shake his head, rising to his paws to follow. "A family meal sounds wonderful, right Whiteclaw? Even if Swandive doesn't seem to want us there." 56 Moons. TreeClan. Cloudpool TreeClan - Queen - 76 Moons It was rare that Cloudpool got the chance to be around so much of her family, and with kits growing in her belly, she was only too happy to take the time to love on everyone. She had a feeling she would be very occupied with her new kits when they were born. Especially after their last siblings had not survived. Cloudpool glanced up at the sky for a moment, thinking of them, and making a promise to Starclan. Starclan, let me have these kits, just give me one kit, please. I would give my life for them, even if that is necessary. But let them live.
She looked back at Skyfall just in time to hear him mention Shrikekit, and she nodded warmly. "Indeed a proud name, if a bit of a prickly one. But we dont think about that. If you get a brother then we shall see then." Cloudpool winked at him.
When Swandive suggested they share a mouse, and then the toms got pouty, Cloudpool laughed gleefully. "Now, now, you three, you wouldn't want to set a bad example for your siblings would you? But yes, lets go get some food and share tongues. It's nice to spend time with you."
The older queen got to her paws, just a bit slower than she once had, but grateful she hadn't started feeling joint pain like her mate. It would only be a few seasons before Blackwing retired. For Cloudpool, she would wait, if she could, until her kits were warriors, then she would join him, content she had fulfilled her part in the clan. I'm weird 'cause I hate goodbyes
