Description:
Palekit inherited his father's silver-grey coloring, but instead of fading in and out, his coat maintains a solid shade of slate throughout. That's all he inherited from his father, though, appearance-wise, and the rest of his traits come from his mother. His short coat is similar in length to Gracklefire's, and is fairly thick. Steely grey eyes during his kithood will turn to a golden-brown amber shortly before his apprenticeship.
Palekit also inherited his mother's frame, being a smaller and lighter tom. Along with build, he inherited his mother's grace and ease of movements, from an early age moving with an easy grace that many strive to achieve. Lithe, agile, and flexible, Palekit seems more suited to be a she-kit, and many may think so if seen from a distance. With a gentle, feminine grace, he seems to float on his paws, and never seems to have an awkward moment. Tree-climbing comes naturally to him, as his sense of balance and flexibility give him a solid picture of where exactly he's putting his paws.

Description Summary:
A silver-grey tom with amber eyes.
Personality:
Being the second-born of his litter, one would expect Palekit to take a leadership role within the litter, but the opposite is true. Palekit has a quiet, soft-spoken personality, more than willing to sit back and let others lead. Not completely submissive, however, Palekit can stand his own in spars of various types, though he chooses to walk alone, not in front of or behind anyone. Not a leader, but not a true follower.
Palekit has a softer nature, a nurturing side to him that seems to fit with his more feminine appearance. He'd much rather talk things over than fight, and would prefer to help rebuild after tragedy or war, rather than utilize such weaknesses to the benefit of the strong. His softheartedness isn't always accepted, especially within the NightClan camp. He's often teased by the other kits, and even the apprentices, both for his feminine looks and for his less than harsh nature. For a young kit, he's got an odd control, especially over his emotions, that may have stemmed from having strong warriors as his parents. He can emotionally detach himself from a situation, so that he stays calm and collected, able to keep a clear head. This talent hasn't been battle tested yet, so it isn't confirmed that it will always work. But for the squabbles in the nursery, it works just fine.
All this berating and beating, instead of forcing him into a lower sense of self, has done just the opposite. It has fed into him a desire to succeed, to rise above those around him, into a higher class of warrior, one respected for their knowledge and flexibility, one with the wisdom to make their own decisions, one that can operate not blindly, but consciously. He doesn't want to be just another warrior, but a warrior that exceeds the the knowledge and abilities of all though who have ridiculed him through his kithood. He's not one for violent revenge, no. He'll usurp them in a different manner, by upsetting the very hierarchy they depend on.

History:
Palekit was born to two NightClan warriors, the deputy, Roughthroat, and Gracklefire. Being the second born of the litter, one would expect him to take a leadership role, following along as the self-proclaimed 'Queen Starlingkit's' second-in-command, or even challenging her role. However, Palekit prefers to sit on the outside, watching in silence as Starlingkit rules over her little kingdom. He isn't bent to her will, though; he prefers to stand aside and watch.
Growing up in a litter of five isn't easy, especially when you're quiet and soft-spoken. He's often the subject of ridicule from his siblings, as well as the other kits in the nursery, and even a few of the apprentices. He's growing used to being teased and berated for his feminine appearance, but also for his gentle, caring heart. Since he'd much rather talk things over than fight, some of the other toms usually attempt to provoke him, or gang up on him in mock battles, some more violent than others, just to see if they can get a rise out of him. He's got a strange control over his emotions, though, and can manage to detach himself from the situation to keep himself calm and under control. All of this is what drives Palekit to become a great warrior, so that he can show everyone that he's worth a lot more than they bargained for.

Other:
Will be injured in his apprenticeship, twisting a hindlimb and prompting a name changed to Crookedpaw/flame
