Ghostlight lifted her head from the shadows of the Warrior's den. She had been listening to the mews of her clanmates outside in the clearing for a while, some of it about apprentices, kits and deputies. The black she-cat stood up and shook her fur out, making sure no moss stuck to her body as she made her way from the comforting and warm area, in which she would have loved to stay, but it was time for her to do something.
The large she-cat tipped her head to the side to strech her neck before continuing her walk towards the freshkill pile, where it seemed like everyone from Nightclan was gathering for the day. Ghostlight's pale blue eyes caught sight of Blackwolf, a tom that she didn't really speak too, but it wasn't like he bothered her or anything. From what she had seen Blackwolf seemed to have been stepping it up a bit since Nightclan's loss of Boneshadow, the former deputy.
Ghostlight, just like most Nightclanners, was curious about who the next deputy would be and when Ravenstar would appoint them. From what the large she-cat could tell, the clan was doing well at the moment, despite the lack of prey in the territory. Ghostlight's pale eyes traveled over the rest of the cats around, a couple of cats who followed Blackwolf like kits follow a queen, and she at one point had probably said something about that to them. She was well known for her sharp tongue and she would speak what was on her mind, weather it get her introuble with her clanmates or not.
Ghostlight's pale blue eyes caught sight of an older warrior that started to strut his way accross the camp clearing. She knew who he was and that some cats wern't comfortable with them. Ghostlight knew his name, Hawkscreech. And from what she gathered, he was Blackwolf's father and two didn't get along so well. The large black she-cat found herself a spot to sit a bit aways from the comotion nearby, but enough to be seen and enough to hear as she watched the scene unfold.
