A devastating earthquake has struck the valley, rendering it to an almost completely unrecognizable state.
Though the Clans were warned of the impending disaster and most escaped to the shelter of the mountains, many cats will die.
Please see our Cull List for the full list of those that have died during the disaster!
As the Clans struggle through this catastrophic event, the lines between each of them will be blurred, for the time has come for them to join together, and they will not emerge as the same Clans they once were.
** Special Note: New member registration has been temporarily disabled as Fate undergoes an overhaul of the site, and a complete reworking of the Clans! We hope to open registration again very soon, but in the meantime you're more than welcome to hang out in our Discord if you'd like to stick around!
Please take the time to read through our Newleaf Announcement for how our five Clans will be merging into three, led by our current active leaders (Silverstar, Owlstar, and Clovermask/star).
We also have a territory contest where we're challenging members to come up with what the Clans' territories will look like after disaster strikes! Prey and badges are among the rewards for participating!
Happy New Year! After the tumultuous year 2020 brought us, staff have decided to extend the December hiatus into January!
High ranks are not required to meet their usual post quota, and you are still free to roleplay, but things may be a little slower around the site!
Staff are recovering from the year as well, so please be patient with us, as it may take some time for us to accept applications and update things. Let's make 2021 a great year for Fate!
** Special Note: Another predator will be spotted in the valley in the coming days. Keep an eye out for the next batch of the Tooth & Claw event!
Sunburst sat outside the warriors den. She rose a paw to only lick it and put it back on the grounds of TreeClan camp. The she-cat was bored and wanted to do something, like hunt. She looked around to see if anyone looked in need of something to do also. Anything would be better than sitting around at camp.
Moving into the warriors den had been like stepping from the forest into camp: painless and easy, despite the notable differences in terrain, or in his case, position and responsibilities. But he had been ready to handle them since he had been a kit, wrestling with the others and tumbling across camp; by now, Nobleheart had been beyond ready. Had he not had various events of the past, the most significant being his encounter with Demon, TreeClan's newest warrior did not doubt that he would have been counting down the days until he could sleep with the other warriors. Finally, several days back, that time had arrived, and he had started the next chapter of his life. Next up, deputy, He mused, raising his head and blinking. But first, I suppose I should get a move on with my day.
It was rather late in the morning, he would admit, but the tom had choesn to indulge himself a little. What little prey they could find in the middle of leaf-bare would no doubt still be there an hour or so later, either already frozen or struggling to survive just as much as they were. In any case, he could delay no longer; TreeClan definitely needed his expertise in their hunting endeavors, even if his strength lay obviously in the area of fighting. Either way, shirking his duties was not the way to prove to the other warriors that he was ready for the job. Heaving a sigh, Nobleheart stretched and flexed his claws, shaking any bits of his nest from gray and white fur. After giving his chest fur a few licks and running a practiced paw over his face, he strode toward the exit of the den.
As usual, the sun nearly blinded him when he stepped from the relative darkness to the stark white of the world. Blinking the spots from his eyes, the tom cast a green-eyed gaze around camp. Most of the cats had gotten semi-accustomed to the jagged scars running across his face, and he was pleased with the progress. Kits, of course, stared, but the looks of sympathy had diminished. The sight of another warrior caught his attention, and turning, Nobleheart recognized Sunburst, a rather friendly she-cat. She seemed rather bored, though he had never been particularly skilled in the area of perception. Padding over to the older warrior, he dipped his head and greeted politely, "Morning, Sunburst. You up for a patrol, maybe?"
