The new deputy of TreeClan will be.... *drum roll please*

Smallshine!

Played by Poison, she was one of two very suitable options for TreeClan's new deputy, and though I was seriously torn between Smallshine and Briarshade, I went with the cat I felt would grow the most from the experience (the fact that Briarshade was not yet accepted had nothing to do with the decision) as well as help TreeClan's growth in return. Of course, activity levels helped greatly, and the ages of both she-cats were exactly to my liking, both had qualities I expected in a deputy, and personalities that would've been a decent match with TreeClan's current leader. It wasn't a choice of 'who's qualified to be deputy?' so much as it was a choice of 'Which cat will become a strong support system for the Clan as well as mature along the way?'

To me, I felt as though Smallshine fit that description the most.

Thank you to all participants, it really was a close call, that's why it took so long for me to make a decision! This auditioning stuff is hard! x)

So Congrats to Poison and Smallshine, she will be announced as the new Deputy of TreeClan as soon as Lionstep comes back as Lionstar, from his trip to the Moon Tree.
