Sootstorm has a bit of a quirky personality, often trying to joke his way out of uncomfortable situations. Sometimes he can be a bit forgetful and even unpredictable at times, but he is typically well-meaning in his actions.
History:
Sootkit was born to the young LightningClan couple Sorrelheart and Blackfur with his sisters, Kestrelkit and Dipperkit. Sootkit was often the odd one out with his sisters, who were attached at the hip - they would often even tag up against him in play fights. The earthquake hit when the trio were apprentices, and their parents had another litter, two kits named Rook-kit and Cherrykit. While fleeing from the earthquake, Sootpaw found Kestrelpaw near an opening in the earth, mourning as she lamented that she hadn't been able to save Dipperpaw who had fallen and died. He managed to pull his sister away from the edge, bringing her to safety where they met up with their mother, who was looking after Rook-kit and told the pair that Blackfur had fallen while carrying Cherrykit, and that both were gone.
