Gray and his brother Shadow were born to a pair of massive Cave-Guards that passed down their genes to their only two sons. While Shadow seemed to be more stoic, even as a youngster, Gray had a much louder and more entertaining personality. He loved to cause trouble wherever his huge paws seemed to carry him and often times even got scolded by Skyteller as well as the Tribe as a whole. Despite his personality, he was well liked and often well received by those around him who weren't as outgoing or mischievous as he was and though it was obvious their parents chose Shadow over him it seemed to roll of his back like a bit of water. Even with the lack of the sting, it didn't stop Gray from being rather competitive with Shadow throughout their lives growing up together. 

• To-Be: 
  

Gray, like his brother, were trained to be Cave-Guards with their massive statures. It was only natural for them to fall into that placement, though Gray often tried to out-do or compete with his brother at every chance he got. As a To-Be, Gray started to grow a bit of a big head, constantly bragging about his successes as a Cave-Guard or that he was a much better fighter than anyone else even those older than him. While his mouth still lead him into trouble, it seemed that he still had a fairly immature personality, and the differences between he and his brother only seemed to grow. His pride often rolled into arrogance, and at some points led him into trouble even if that wasn't his intended meaning. When he wasn't being so stubborn, his intelligence and insightful mind were actually well accepted as it showed that even under the boyish annoyance, or boyish charm, that there was a cat that was dedicated to his position within the tribe. 

• Cave-Guard: 

Through trials and tribulations and perhaps a few close calls with outside things, Gray finally managed to push past his To-Be training to become a full-fledge Cave-Guard and earning his rightful place among his Tribemates. As he grew older, he seemed to mellow out some, but beneath all his bravado is still that mischievous and playful tomcat that happily peaks out from time to time and he still enjoys trying to compete with his brother to see who is better. While a flirt, Gray still has yet to actually find a she-cat (or Tom) who suits his interests but in the moons that brought Shadow his mate and daughters, Gray has found himself happy to just spend time with his three nieces though it seems that between the she-cats, Shimmer is the one who gets along best with her laid-back attitude.
