Height: 12"
Fur Color(s): Bright orange/red, pale oranges, and white.
Fur Pattern(s): Tabby stripes that vary in darkness and fade, pale orange/white muzzle and markings around eyes
Fur Length: Mixture of spiky yet soft long and medium with shorter on muzzle and paws and longer on tail.
Nose Color: Red
Eye Color: Pale Green
Scars: ---
Distinct Features: Vibrant pelt, bright eyes, height
Strengths:: Speed, climbing, running long strides
Weaknesses: Strength, swimming, slowing down once running
Nearly a perfect mixture of her mother and father, Emberkit’s prefix fits her very perfectly. Though she holds her mother’s red coloring and her father’s fur pattern, she does lean more in the direction of her mother in many aspects.
In terms of build, she isn’t a very large cat overall in her young age, nor does her actual body grow to a large size, but her legs are quite long during kithood, making her taller than most, and they continue to grow a good bit in her Apprentice moons. By the time she finishes growing, she stands at the same height as her mom, but is mostly leg rather than torso or bulk. If anything, her shoulders in front and back are larger, meant for the strength that comes with climbing trees.
The origin of her prefix, her coat is very distinctive and stands out in a crowd. Her pelt is vibrant orange-red in color, appearing more orange in daylight and more red at night, as well as depending on the lighting. Her primary markings are tabby stripes she inherited from her father, covering her body in a mixture of thicknesses and shades. The dark red stripes along her legs, face, and tail are far darker and more solid than any of the stripes on the rest of her body. Apart from her stripes, the only other markings she has are lighter patches and small spots on her face, pale orange and white in color. There is an area on her muzzle that is this color, nearly identical to her mother’s same marking, as well as small strips around her eyes. Her pelt itself is a large mixture of lengths, being shorter around her face and paws, medium-length on her body and legs, and longer on her chest and tail. Often times her pelt is somewhat spiky and goes away from her, though not in a way that seems dishevelled or fully messy. Her fur is just naturally pointy.
Additional features to add to her appearance, her nose is a somewhat dark red in shade, thin white whiskers stick out from her face, and her eyes are a pale green in color, resembling her dad’s but less bright.

[PTab=PERSONALITY]
Emberkit is a handful, that's one thing for certain. A constant source of trouble in the new Gorgeclan home, this tall she-kit has a very bold personality that is always out in the open for all to see. Full of pride in who she came from and who she is, Ember will always just be herself regardless of what anyone else thinks, and who she is, for now, is a kit! She is full of mischief and curiosity, always seeking out any chance to cause trouble and always looking for any opportunity to play. With a, in her opinion, amazing sense of humor, she likes to think that she lights up the camp and makes everything around her fun. She is always trying to play in some way or another, and loves dragging others into her play so that others can have fun too. And two of her favorite cats to do this with are her brothers, both of whom she adores very much.
Family is something that means a lot to Ember from the moment she is born. From the start it is clear that she is very much a momma’s girl, Foxfire’s far more passive and dismissive form of parenting only fueling Ember’s love for freedom and just living the way that she wants. Along with this, she almost immediately grows a deep adoration for both of her brothers and almost always wants to be with them, even if they don’t always want to be with her. Due to the fact that she was the first born in the litter, she sees herself as the protective older sister who has to look out for her boys, which one can only imagine will probably become a nuisance after a while. But she does it out of love. Meanwhile, her desire to play and have fun while she is young only gets squashed by her father’s high expectations and strict way of raising them. It is actually Driftshade’s way of parenting that gives Ember a rather rebellious streak, the start of her trouble-seeking ways; it’s fun to see father mad.
One trait that is somewhat understandable for her, given her heritage, is that Ember is surprisingly realistic when it comes to the world around her, and she makes this very clear. She is not the sort to see a bad situation “on the bright side”. If it is clear that something will not be ok, or something will not turn out ideal, she will just say so. False hope only gets expectations higher, which makes it so much harder to handle if said situation does go poorly. This can be both a good thing and a bad thing at times, given that there are many scenarios where saying “just give up and forget about it” would not be very good or appreciated advice, while there are some that it could be good for. But her realistic view on things doesn’t just pertain to situations. Similarly to her parents, she has particular views on the likes of Starclan. Leaders getting nine lives from invisible cats in the sky that come to your dreams, Medicine Cats who receive visions and messages from those same cats in the same way, spirits looking down on the valley from the clouds and giving weird unclear messages to interpret. It is a bunch of bullshit. When you die, you die. Your heart stops and that's the end of it. If there really was some sort of spirit or soul or any of that that went “climbing to the sky to run in the stars” why had no one ever seen one? If you can’t see it, how do you know that it's real? And even if Starclan was real, why base your entire livelihood around a bunch of dead cats you probably don’t even know?
As bold of a personality as Ember has when she is in a good mood, her persona only skyrockets when she isn’t in a good mood. For one, her sense of humor can range anywhere from lighthearted joking around to brutal and passive aggressive sarcasm. In her eyes, sarcasm IS a personality trait and she takes this to heart. In addition, when it comes to her very proud nature, this extends further than just loving her family and where she comes from. Ember gets extremely protective over her family and does not just sit back and let others talk bad about them. She lets others say whatever they want about herself, but the moment you talk about about her brothers or her mother is when she loses it. She takes on a very hostile nature when she is angry, especially if it is towards another cat. She will hold grudges and likely will never let anyone forget when they have upset her, especially if it is over something relating to family. In certain situations, she is likely to physically lash out if one gets too on her nerves, and she will not be afraid to swipe at anyone who tests her. In this way, she is seen as very reckless and the sort who doesn’t think before she acts. She doesn’t care about the consequences or what could happen, she only cares about whats happening in the moment. This includes both her actions and words towards others and her actions overall in all that she does. She jumps straight into anything she feels like, even if it is dangerous or careless or stupid. How is she to learn if she doesn’t experience all that she can? And if she does throw herself into something and it goes wrong, that just means she won’t do that again. She will just go and jump into something else instead.
Strengths: Making friends, comebacks, standing up for herself/others, keeping things real, getting in trouble.
Weaknesses: Keeping friends, obedience, showing respect, holds grudges, easily provoked
Likes:: Having fun, spending time with friends, running, climbing
Dislikes: Being bossed around or scolded, being confined/limited, anyone insulting her family, swimming, dad
Hobbies: Playing pranks, racing, climbing trees, exploring
Quirks: Her tail lashes like a rattlesnake tail when she’s mad and she rolls her eyes a lot
Goals: Have fun while she is young, become a Warrior, maybe one day become Deputy and/or Leader
Fears: Drowning, losing her family[/PTab={tab-height:20px;tab-padding:5px;background-color:#D06E00;tab-hover-background-color:#5b67a8;"]

Mother: Foxfire - Gorgeclan Queen - Abyss
Father: Driftshade - Gorgeclan Warrior - NPC
Siblings: Coyotekit(Aqua), --kit(Fab)
Other Family: Squirrelskip(Minted), Scorchwing(Deceased), Rowanflower(Deceased), Viperclaw(Deceased), Hailscreech(Deceased), Moonstep(NPC)
Birth Season: Leaffall
Birthplace: Gorgeclan's new camp
Pre-Birth | The pairing between Foxfire and Driftshade was far from expected, especially for the ever-violent and hateful she-cat. No one ever thought that someone like Fox would ever have kits, much less have a mate or breed with anyone. But their partnership was not one of love, but rather more of a deal of sorts, a proposition meant for great things.
Driftshade, a tom of “favored” lineage and genes, was always in search of a suitable she-cat who could pass on his legacy. He had always had Foxfire in the corner of his eye, but her unapproachable nature and her very clear hatred for everyone around her deterred him for the longest time. It was when her father, Scorchwing, passed away from old age that he saw opportunity, taking advantage of her disheveled state after losing the tom who had controlled her life for many moons. He wove his way under her skin and forced his presence to be known, and before long, he and Foxfire spent far more time together than they did with anyone else. Fox saw all of this as more a mutual understanding: both of them had hated Lionstar during his rule and they both, in technicality for herself, followed Pumastar. While she saw it as a tolerable company, Drift had his intentions and planned for them to be known. They had a discussion in private, and after much talking, and quite a lot of threatening and baring of teeth and claws, Drift laid his whole plan out to Fox. Fox had a desire to get rid of Lionstar’s name from the mouths of her peers, or at least tarnish his name, and Drift wanted to pass on his genes to the next generation. To Drift, it was the perfect combination and reasoning for them to have kits. They would raise them “together”, they would teach their kits the way that clans should be run, and, with any hope, these kits would be the beginning of the new greatest generation.
There was only a single attempt, and, unfortunately, that one attempt worked. It was only days before and during the earthquake when Foxfire discovered her new ailment, and she absolutely hated it. She kept continuing to convince herself that she was not pregnant and that she was just sick, since she would never think of herself as old. But by the time someone did take notice of a few small changes in her behavior, of course it ended up being the meddlesome Medicine Cat Apprentice. Fox threatened Sagepaw to keep the secret, hoping to delay the inevitable for as long as possible. During their time in the Tribe is when Fox reached the half-way stage of her pregnancy, and it was when Gorgeclan claimed their new camp and began to establish themselves that the kits were born.
Kithood | Foxfire gave birth to three kits: a red tabby she-cat that was named Emberkit, a red-brown Somali tom named Coyotekit, and a --- tom named --kit. During the first moon or so Foxfire acts as though she couldn’t care less about the kits, that they are nothing more than a nuisance she is forced to take care of. She nurses them and keeps them warm, but beyond that, she acts completely disinterested. It is only when they reach their first few milestones, of opening their eyes and starting to stumble-walk their way around, that there is a slight shift in her attitude. Not by much at all from her point of view, but it is clear to some others if they watch close enough. Her eyes are almost always on them, and she takes on a very over-protective nature, not allowing anyone except for those she chooses to go near or even touch them. In a similar fashion, Driftshade does not immediately go into any sort of instinctual parenting mode, focusing more on teasing Foxfire and speaking highly of the kits’ futures rather than actually taking care of them. Once they reach the point of being able to walk and talk, he begins to push for the kits to start practicing their skills early, his lack of affection or nurturing clear even beyond their milestones.
Though Foxfire and Driftshade’s parenting skills are far from nurturing or loving, in the eyes of their oldest and only daughter, her mother is the best mother she could have. No, she isn’t exactly the most affectionate or soothing cat, but that isn’t the kind of cat Ember would want raising her anyway. Besides, to her, everything that Fox does for her and her brothers is all out of love. Tough love is a form of love too, after all. While Ember adores their mother, she openly shows a dislike for her father from a young age. She claims that it is because “the way he treats mother and all of us just doesn’t sit right” with her. But internally it is because of his immediate push of expectations for her and her brothers to practice their skills and start training. She is a kit! She wants to have fun, not just spend all her time focusing on the future! A lover of family (besides dad, of course), Ember tries to spend as much time as she can with Coyotekit and --kit, adoring both of her brothers and fulfilling a combination of the fun-bringer and the protector. They can defend themselves, obviously, but she is their “big sister”. How could she not look after them?
Besides the usual of spending time with either Foxfire or her brothers, most of Ember’s time is spent with the other kits of the nursery, playing games, racing around camp, and causing trouble.
