Dapplefire is a social and committed NightClan warrior, having always performed her duties well and without complaint. Not very serious, she's friendly and loves to be around others, often inviting the shier and younger cats of the Clan to eat with her. She's open and warm-hearted, and has become known as someone you can turn to when you need to talk or when you need advice. However, she has her own set ways of doing things, and will not take other suggestions when it comes to how she lives and interacts with others. She is the advice giver, not the advice taker. She can be a tad arrogant in this way, but it usually comes more out of stubbornness than anything else. She can occasionally be moody, and is ruled by her emotions; if something is upsetting her, she can take it out on others without meaning to. Many cats have received her apologies days after she snapped at them and got over her moodiness. This makes her quite an honest individual, and always takes the path of honesty when she sorts out her feelings on any matter.
As a deputy, Dapplefire is excellent at coming up with creative solutions to the everyday problems that may come up while organizing a Clan's daily life. She is more involved in the lives of her Clanmates, and is very down-to-earth and open, wanting to make her warriors feel like she still thinks of herself as one of them, and not the Clan's second-in-command. She can get easily annoyed and impatient by kits and apprentices, having little tolerance for cats who don't listen to her the first time she asks them to do something.
History:
Dapplekit was born the single kit in her litter after some birthing complications, but her mother did pull through and survive. Fiercely private, her mother never revealed who her father was, but there was little debate about whether she'd been disloyal - her mother had always been openly xenophobic like many other NightClan cats. Dapplekit had a happy kithood, having been blessed with the fact another litter was born a quarter-moon after her, so she spent her time in the nursery with friends, and was promoted to the apprentices' den along with those friends. But Dapplepaw never had trouble making friends.
Though she enjoyed the social aspects of being in a Clan more than anything, she never complained about performing the duties that came with Clan life. A proficient hunter and tracker, she earned her warrior name after still managing to catch a rabbit while both fled from a tree that had just caught fire after being struck by lightning. Thankfully, the rain put it out almost immediately, but her Clanmates were both amused and amazed she'd used the opportunity to catch prey. She was dubbed Dapplefire, and carried the name proudly.
It wasn't long before Dapplefire had an apprentice of her own, and at the time thought it wasn't as bad as other warriors had made it out to be. She later learned she'd just had the luck of getting one of the most serious kits in the nursery as her first apprentice. She couldn't stand doing joint training sessions with other apprentices, as she'd grow impatient with the other apprentice's immaturity compared to her own apprentice. When he became a warrior, she was very proud, but not exactly eager to have another apprentice so soon, and had enjoyed her return to normal warrior duties.
