Date of creation: 21.04.2021
Name: Puddlepaw
Age: 7 moons
Gender: she-cat
Clan: RainClan
Rank: Apprentice
Picture:
Description: Puddlepaw is a lithe, blueish grey she-cat with smooth, short fur and green eyes. She is a bit on the smaller side although the size of her paws suggests that she will grow to be above average sized. She has short whiskers and claws, yet strong back legs. Her body seems to be build for running and speed, yet is adaptable to swimming. Her face is triangular all around, not short of her ears. Her appearance might resemble that of a russian blue.
She is often seen tilting her head due to slight hearing loss, which she suffered from following an ear infection in her left ear that she compensates for that way.
Description Summary: A lithe, short furred blue she-cat with green eyes
Personality:
*+ fun-loving, polite, protective
*- restless, strong-willed, unforgiving
*: pensive, daring, individualistic
While Puddlepaw may not be the most outgoing cat she sure does love to have some good, proper fun. Any mishievousness she might have had has since been overcome by her sheer dedication to keep proper manners, be polite and accommodating.
This does not make her a goody-two-toes however as she likes to test boundaries and see how far she can get with cats- keeping her manners and straight face the while is a habit well-trained.
She might seem like a rule-follower on the outside however inside she is constantly questioning the logic and legalities of such, a hint that she will likely develope a more individualistic persona with age.
So far she is strong-willed and stubborn, paired with being prone to growing resentful it can be hard to get back on her good side once she has been angered.
There's a restlessnes to her and she does not quite know where to focus that energy yet.
History:
Puddlekit was born alongside her sister Drizzlekit to a pair of proud RainClan warriors. The sisters were the pride of their parents, doted on in every way, yet under a strict guidance with an emphasis on the importance of tradition, logic and manners.
When she was about three moons old Puddlekit had an ear infection that needed intense treatment which had her stay at the medicine cats' den for a few days. She secretlely enjoyed being away from her family which made her feel guilty in hindsight. Some cats might say the slight hearing loss she suffered on her left ear following her infection was a punishment for that sentiment.
Tragically her parents perished due to sickness when she was five moons old. Now she and her sister must learn to live without their parents by their side.
Hearing the words of comfort "they are with StarClan now" always failed to do their job.
On the contrary: It makes her angry. Why would they be dead and with StarClan, a force that can grant life, when they really should be with her and Bluekit instead? She keeps her anger to herself though, as that whole StarClan-nonesense seems to be a great source of comfort to her sister.
As an apprentice she is eager to learn the practical aspects, less eager to learn about tradition, rules and theory.
RP Example:
["Excuse me [Randompaw], could you please step aside?"
Puddlepaw held the water vole she had caught awkwardly between her front legs so her mouth was empty for talking and her prey would not get all soggy in the mud underpaw. She bent her neck to pick it back up with her teeth but when she looked up front she saw her denmate had not moved aside but rather turned around to look at her smugly, still blocking her way into camp.
She narrowed her eyes at them but pointedly moved her head to the right side, waiting for them to move and let her through.
"No,I don't feel like moving. Why don't you find another way inside?", they said.
They kept their tone bored and yawned but Puddlepaw could tell that was fake by the way their eyes were too smug. Surely they were amused by Puddlepaw's struggle with the water vole. She wondered just how bright [Randompaw] truly was when they did not even try to accommodate a simple request that would result in their own benefit, namely their responsibility of feeding the elders taken care of.
Shifting her paws she readied herself to place the rodent back between her legs while she mused about wether it was worth telling [Randompaw] off or if it was easier to just find another way in.
Luck was on her side however as she saw the expression and [Randompaw]'s face change abruptly. Twisting her ears and slightly tilting her head to the right side to move her good ear towards the source, she could hear the splish-splash of paw steps that announced the arrival of a patrol. She was not deaf on her legt ear but it took longer to locate sounds when they came from the left.
"Move, [Randompaw]! Puddlepaw!", a senior warrior barked.
Puddlepaw had never seen [Randompaw] scramble that quickly, they even slipped on the muddy ground and bumped their chin into the soil.
Now it was her time to be amused and she waved her tail as she finally entered camp. She might have to work on her authoritarian air but for now she was content.]
Other: want to adopt out Drizzlepaw who will be very religious
