Name: Noblekit > Noblepaw > Nobleheart
Age: 8 moons
Gender: tom
Clan: TreeClan
Rank: Apprentice
Picture: Here
Description: As with the rest of himself, Noblepaw is very proud with his appearance. Slightly larger than average, he often uses his size to his advantage, whether showing off or pushing smaller cats around. A layer of short white and gray fur hides muscle, well-toned from fighting practice. For the most part, this tom has white fur; dark gray fur shows up in patches on his back, with a peculiar one right under his nose. With the only exception being training, Noblepaw can be a fairly vain, and he consequently keeps his fur very clean and well-groomed. He has large paws which hide sharp claws. Despite his size, he can move fairly quickly in battle and when he needs to; all other times he tends to strut around, with his head high and his ego limitless. Clear, bright green eyes are his most stunning feature.
Description Summary: A slightly larger tom with short gray and white fur and bright green eyes.
Personality:
Fighter.
Whether from bullying his brother in the nursery or from natural skill, Noblepaw has a fighting talent, and he makes sure that everyone knows it. The moves come easily to him, and he knows it. He loves everything about fighting; the techniques, the rush, the power that comes when he hits his mark. This ferocious fighter will do anything, take any number of risks, if it means he ultimately wins a battle. Pain means nothing to him. He works hard to improve his skills. Like many others, this apprentice's goal is to become the best fighter in TreeClan and lead his clan into battle. He wants to become a legend. And once he's accomplished that, he will hunt and slay every single fox in the forest.
Proud.
While pride can be a good quality, excessive pride is not valued, and Noblepaw has the latter. He is a very arrogant cat and finds great pride in his fighting abilities. Modesty does not exist in his dictionary. At times, his ego seems to know no limits, for he thinks very highly of himself and often will not turn away from a chance to either show off or boast. Due to his pride, he comes very defensive fairly easily and does not take criticism very well. Cockiness stems from his pride, a weakness he does not realize he has. Because every cat no doubt thinks very highly of him, he has to groom and look impeccable at all times.
High expectations.
Part of Noblepaw's problem is that he has high expectations for himself, which he unconsciously applies to other cats. He is a perfectionist and extremely determined to do things a certain way when he has his mind set to it. He hates being shown up by anyone, and he holds that grudge for a long time. He is not easily impressed because of his expectations; if a cat does impress him, he becomes jealous of their ability. When others do not live up to his expectations, then he becomes condescending to them, believing that he is better and more deserving than they. His tongue is given more freedom, and insults often leave his mouth. He despises weakness, especially in his blood; thus, Noblepaw has a particular dislike of Bravepaw. Believing himself to have better problems to attend to, he has very little patience for trivial matters.
Sly.
While he has no patience for trivial matters, Noblepaw is not a completely impatient cat. He has a sly, cunning side to him; the side that often produces biting insults and soothes his anger by formulating a plan for revenge, though he rarely carries through with those. Despite his cunning, Noblepaw would not make a very good strategist; his successful plans are often spur of the moment, in the heat of the fight.
Opinionated.
Once Noblepaw sets his mind to something, others have a hard time of changing his opinion. If he believes a cat to be weak, he will forever label them as weak in his head. He sees every cat for how they are now, not what they may become in the future; he ignores potential. His pride makes him argue any point with which he does not agree.
History:
Noblepaw would have had loving parents in both Moonflower and Eaglewing had the fox not attacked. This attack not only killed Moonflower, but forced her kits to come earlier than expected. Despite this, all four of the kits survived, with only one major problem. With her dying breaths, the new mother named each of her kits after the quality she hoped to see in each of them: nobility, bravery, joy and hope. However, the irony of each of the kits' names was soon realized.
Though he was told that a fox killed his mother and it wasn't due to any lack of fighting ability on her part, Noblepaw decided on his own that his mother must have died because she was weak. She could not stay alive for her four kits or her mate. Disgust grew in him as he became set more firmly in this belief and he saw what must be the same weakness in his brother, Bravepaw. He saw none of this weakness in himself, so of course he was better than the other tom. And he made sure his sibling knew it, either from scathing insults or the occasional pounce.
After six long months of enduring his Bravepaw's snivelling, Joypaw's glares, and Hopepaw's moping, Noblepaw and his siblings finally became apprentices. His interest had always rested in fighting, and his apprenticeship further cemented that when he showed signs of some natural ability. His pride grew as did his strength; he was climbing up from the shamed hole his mother had made because of her weakness. As he became more capable in fighting, his tolerance for weakness and cowardice shrunk.
