Newleaf 25 - The sun is bright and strong. There is a faint breeze, though ultimately it is pleasantly warm out and a fine day for hunting, battle training, or basking in the heat of the day.
Going to a Gathering was something that she hadn't expected to do again. As almost every other Warrior had, Brindlemask had gone to a Gathering when she was an Apprentice. Back then she was very similar to the way she was now: quiet and reserved. She didn't care to interact with cats from the other clans or even really her clanmates. She focused solely on the announcements and the news that the Leaders told. She knew most of her clanmates couldn't care less about the news of the other clans, but the lives of the other clans did somewhat intrigue her. If there was any sort of danger in one of the other clans, there was a chance that it could spread to Nightclan, so she was always listening.
The walk to Starclan's Claws was pretty quiet, as to be expected. Brindle walked alongside some of the others near the back of the group, merely watching around them to see sights she hadn't seen in a little while. When they arrived there were already a decent amount of cats there. Three Leaders already sat atop their respective perches, looking over the clearing of cats. From the very beginning Brindle could already see tensions. There were some cats wandering around bumping into each other, throwing insults, and being extremely disrespectful. She shook her head at seeing these exchanges.
She immediately walked to the back of the clearing, settling herself in the shade of the bushes and trees around her. She watched as the new Nightclan Leader jumped up on her perch; it was her first Gathering as a Leader. Brindlemask was very curious to see and hear the reactions that others would have to Darkstar. But she also glanced over to find that there was something...off, about this Gathering. There was a group of cats that she didn't recognize. Everyone seemed to be curious as to who they were. As much as she wanted to know, she stayed where she was, choosing to stay in the shadows rather than bring forward any confrontation.
