I hear the wind across the plain,

A sound so strong, that calls my name

More training!

The pale feline slipped along behind her mentor as the two she-cats made their way out of Lightningclan's camp and onto the open, frozen moors of their territory.

It wasn't too early in the day, Bluefrost had let Windpaw sleep in a little bit, the young apprentice hadn't realized how tired she way until she had been woken from a deep slumber and a good dream.

A quick stretch and a small field mouse later and Windpaw was waiting for Bluefrost to explain what they would be doing today. The younger she-cat quite enjoyed being around her mentor, she enjoyed Bluefrost's company and respected the wisdom she was passing down.

Granted, Windpaw practically liked everyone, but there was already the smallest of bonds formed between the mentor and apprentice pairing.

Pulling up to Bluefrost's side, Windpaw pressed softly and reassuringly against her mentor's flank with a happy purr that slipped from her chest and a smile on her paw. The sound growing ever so slightly as a chilly wind brushed past to tug at the tabby's fur. 

It was tempting to run after it, oh so tempting. But ever since she had disappeared a few days ago she was told not to leave Bluefrost's sight. That didn't stop the slight sadness that welled up within her clear green pools.
