Name: Egg
Age: 18 moons (Current age: 27 moons)
Gender: She-cat
Clan: Loner
Rank: Loner
Picture: Picture 2 | Picture 3 | Picture 4 | Picture 5 | Picture 6 | Picture 7
Description:
Egg is a small, short furred, cinder grey she-cat with hazel-green eyes. When she becomes excited, her eyes become slightly greener. Her build is relatively average, not quite as brawny as a Treeclan warrior and not nearly as lean as a Lightningclan cat. Egg is a little thinner and more refined than most, always moving with a swift and silent gait (though her chatter often gives her away). She has no fancy markings, just plain grey fur for her plain Jane face and personality. She has a dark nose, perhaps the sharpest and most prominent feature on her face. Her whiskers are a subtle, light grey, and her tail is rather thin and a bit shorter than average, explaining her more rough attempts at balance than most cats. Egg's lack of markings may have softened her appearance, though she couldn't have looked more dainty. Her features and form are pleasing to the eyes, femininity present in every step, though despite Egg's lady-like physique, her actions and movements are rich with confidence.
Description Summary:
Egg is a small, short furred, cinder grey she-cat with hazel-green eyes.
Personality:
Egg has a very positive outlook on every aspect of life, though not in an annoyingly ebullient way. She isn't oblivious and fully recognizes and acknowledges strife and stresses, though hasn't found much progress or success in negativity. Egg uses witty and corny humor in an attempt to lighten moods, and although one would think she likes the sound of her own voice with how much she speaks, Egg knows when to be quiet. She is very perceptive of others and is excellent at reading and analyzing social situations. Her greatest enemy is conflict and imbalance, and if there was any way to mediate a situation, she would jump to it in a heartbeat. Her reasons tend to be heavily backed by truth and logic, which may seem harsh to conflicting parties, though her delivery is tactful and humbly confident.
Egg is always quick to compliment and praise. Some may seem her as superficial at first, though she is actually a very deep thinker and feeler with a profound desire to solve problems and spread her optimism. Despite her loquacious tendencies, Egg's emotions are well-guarded and she rarely lets them get out of hand. Her attention is always directed towards her environment and the entities within it, thus Egg hardly lets herself get caught up in her own thoughts, always finding something to steal her heart and mind.
Like her grandmother, Grousefeather, Egg definitely has attitude, though she expresses it, and what would otherwise be abrasiveness, through lighthearted and playful mocking. Oftentimes her cheeky jokes have insulting undertones, though impudence is never intended despite its presence. It is easy for her words to be taken the wrong way as there tend to be so many of them, though Egg's objective is not only to enjoy life herself, but also help others accomplish their goals and dreams. Nothing makes her happier than aiding everyone in their adventures, her thirst for purpose absolutely unparalleled.
Unfortunately, Egg's aspirations and goals tend to be more short-term, and when things become inactive, she often finds herself quite lonely and lost. She needs a life that can prove to her that she is needed, otherwise she will start to wander in search of a position that she does feel important in. Grousefeather's stories of the warrior cats and their community have always seemed like a dream come true to Egg. Being a warrior and taking care of her fellow clanmates may just give her the motive she needs to stay sane, though the rules and borders may prove difficult to become accustomed too for a wandering troublemaker like Egg.
Perhaps being brought up with relatively open borders had instilled itinerant tendencies, though despite her unsettled spirit, Egg does find great comfort in familiar things. She isn't averse to change at all, unlike her brother, and although she appreciates home and family, Egg has a voracious appetite for feeling valuable. She usually embraces conflict and alterations in an effort to put equilibrium into play, but even though she is an exemplary intermediary, her intense hunger to help and be involved makes her a likely victim of manipulation and exploitation. Despite this, she recognizes that there is rarely a hero without a villain.
Fortunately, she isn't bothered by negativity. Egg is never one to dwell on things, unless it was a really good joke.
History:
Vireo and Egg are siblings, related to Adderstrike of Rainclan. Their grandmother Grousefeather (Adderstrike's aunt) left Rainclan at a young age, exiled for killing her father in cold blood, raising her only daughter well outside of clan territory. Vireo and Egg never knew their own father, having grown up in a small mountainside den with their mother and grandmother. The two heard many exciting stories about the clans, and each tale ended with the elder's eyes glossed over in sadness and desire. She always mentioned how she would love to go back, that someday she would, and Egg didn't want anything more in the world than to help her find her way home.
Grousefeather had filled Egg's mind with dreams of the warrior cats in the valley, where prey was plentiful and the warrior code rang true in the hearts of every cat in the clans.
Egg was a fantastic hunter, though Mintfur didn't agree with fighting, thus all of her battle training was done in private with Grousefeather. The young cat's technique was very good, though it was easy to overpower her ancient grandmother. Egg learned many Rainclan fighting moves from her self-assigned mentor, though she didn't quite know how they would become useful all the way up in the mountains. Heaven knows she didn't need any more excuses to find trouble, but of course, Egg did.
Even as a young cat, she has many stories to tell of her own adventures!
One night, Egg followed Grousefeather out of the den down the mountainside, thunder sounding in the distance and storm clouds rolling in. Once they had reached the skirts of the valley, Egg bounced out of hiding and practically gave Grousefeather a heartattack. It was made known that the senior cat wanted to return to the clans to live the rest of her days, if any clan would welcome her. Thus Egg and Grousefeather sheltered in an abandoned burrow the night of the rainstorm, continuing their quest for the clans.
