Name: Prairiefreckle (Prairie | freckle)
Age: 24 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: RainClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture: LINK
Description: Prair is a sandy-ginger she-cat with tabby markings, very lightly colored, becoming more cream around her flank, muzzle, belly, and paws. Often she is simply called a cream tabby for simplicity, perhaps a more accurate term in the end. Prair has a set of olive green eyes, marked with a streak of brown in both to offset it. Sometimes they are claimed as hazel. Her face is more narrow than some cats, a sharper muzzle point, with black freckles dotting her rosy red nose. Prairiefreckle is only a tinge shorter than the average cat, skinny and lean with well-built muscles made from swimming, as per her clan's customs. Swimming has also made her fur nice and glossy, a beautiful shine she does well to keep up on. Even the slightest bit of fur ruffled up leaves Prair uncomfortable.
Description Summary: An average sized cream tabby she-cat with short fur and hazel eyes.
Personality: [pros] Talkative, Sociable, Considerate, Friendly
[cons]Annoying, Nosy, Attention-Seeker, Insensitive
(traits may be changed as she developes in roleplay)
My idea for Prairiefreckle is that annoying voice that speaks up during times of distress with that high pitched shrill, concerned about something like "oh my gosh my kits!" or something. I mean, she doesn't have kits, but like... me reading the warriors series is just breathing a sigh whenever a queen starts flipping tables over a situation cats are already trying to solve. Or something. Idk, that's just what came to mind, so I'm rolling with that.
Anyway, I want her to be that kind of nice, but frustratingly annoying cat your character is so tempted to say "Prair, can you just shut up?" She's talkative, sociable, and considerate. A kind she-cat that loves children, and would actually give away her food if there wasn't enough to go around. A selfless character that is friendly, likeable...
...until you get to her flaws. Prair speaks up when it isn't necessary, voicing her opinion even if she has no wisdom or advice to give, just because she needs to feel that inclusion. She wants to be at the front of any decision making, a cat that can say she helped come up with an idea, a voice to provide reason and point out problems. But she does it in a way that can get obnoxious. Prair steps in when it isn't her business, tries to settle things that don't even need to be settled by her. Cats likely grumble about Prair sticking her nose where it doesn't belong, because she really does, with a good-natured spirit and a little too overbearing of a personality.
Prair has little sense to reading the mood, not knowing when to keep her mouth shut and when to open it, and when she should back off. She finds it difficult to read other cats, a part of her so focused on Prairiefreckle so much, she can't focus on anyone else. She's a bit of an attention seeker, a lover for having everyone's care and concern. Though saddened by loss, a good pick-me-up for Prair is to simply bask in the waves of pity and "are you okay?"s delivered right to her paws. This part of herself she can recognize, actually, and usually tries to stamp out and deny. "Of course I'm hurt they're gone! Just because I like the attention doesn't mean I don't care!" is said a little too often towards herself.
The rest of her personality is pretty much in development. If you don't know, which you probably don't, I suck at writing and coming up with a character's personality. I can identify key features I want them to exhibit-- "plot: very annoying cat that is super nice so how can you possible be mean to her, but then she just" --only from there, it gets a little tricky. As I roleplay Prairiefreckle, she will start to change or show deeper emotions that I will later add and evolve in time! What she is now is subjected to change, even!
she's technically still a blank page in terms of personality and whether I can roleplay her right, so uhm, yeah, sorry if I fail at rping her the way she should be. But it's a challenge, which is the entire point, so here I go~!
History: Prairiefreckle was born in RainClan to two parents who had also been born and raised here, with a younger brother during her kithood days. Sorrelkit wasn't very active though, born weakly and usually not wanting to eat anything. It always took too long to convince her brother to eat, so he'd feel better, and it wore on their parents' patience rather quickly with it being a repeated situation. Eventually, Sorrelkit just fell too sickly to stay alive, and was buried at almost two moons old. He was never meant to see the next season's change.
Prairiekit did, though, and she loved it. With Sorrelkit gone, although saddened by that fact, her parents could finally give her all the much needed attention she had been begging for. It felt nice, receiving all their love. And a part of Prairiekit was glad her brother had died, in the moons she was too young to understand the impact and horribleness of death. As she grew up, Prairiekit felt ashamed she had once thought that way.
Her life had never been eventful. Prairiepaw was an average apprentice, doing her work to pass, and making friends along the way. She tried to be well-liked and optimistic, and good things happened to her. It almost felt like luck was on her side, like StarClan was smoothing out all the bumps in her path. She felt pretty happy about that idea. Even when her parents died at a relatively young age, taken out by sickness, Prairiefreckle tried to find the silver lining.
A darker part of her mind reasoned, that silver lining was all the attention and love she received from her clanmates, comforting her for losing both her parents around the same time.
But Prairiefreckle shook off such darkness. She didn't want to think of herself as such a cat, to smile at other's misfortunes just because they gave her a better life. And it wasn't like she didn't genuinely grieve for her parents, or others she had lost! They just....
Anyway, currently, nothing exciting has ever happened to her. Not yet. And Prairiefreckle is still pretty young!
Other: If you don't lowkey dislike her, I'm not roleplaying her right. Which I don't think I'll succeed at right away, anyway so....
