Name: Berryfrost
Age: 20 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: Rainclan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description: Berryfrost is a she-cat with a fairly lanky frame. She is tall and thin, with little fat covering her body and not a ton of muscle. She is covered from nose to tailtip in a coat of short, coarse, and wiry fur that is solid gray in color and has a particularly sleek looking appearance to it. Her face is rather round, with a small nose and large, round, yellow eyes sat upon it, giving her the appearance of having almost moon-like eyes. Due to her lack of musculature, Berryfrost doesn't look as though she'd be particularly strong and as a result, many cats underestimate her in battle.
Description Summary: A sleek, gray, she-cat with yellow eyes
Personality: Berryfrost is a rather mysterious cat, with secrets a plenty and an ever growing hoard of rumors that follows her like a pack of dogs follows their alpha. Often alone and hardly ever one for conversation,it's rare for cats to get close to her. Though the reasoning behind this varies from some cats being too unnerved by her and the strange aura she emits, to the gray she-cat's refusal to converse with those she deems as 'nuisances' which to her encompasses most cats. Persistant cats can manage to rise above this title, though rarely do they manage to get on the she-cat's good side and typically end up subject to cruel pranks, harsh words, and various other unpleasant things as a result. In her eyes this is just punishment for those who can't take a hint.
Most of this she-cat's time is spent learning. Studying everything there is to learn from ways to trick and trap prey and enemy cats, to studying terrain to determine where the best places to hide would be during an attack. There is rarely a moment when she isn't learning about something, testing theories or experimenting. She has an unquenchable thirst for knowledge that takes precedence over all else. Not even Starclan or morality itself could stop her from achieving the results she's after. She always claims that in the end it will benefit everyone in the clan once she discovers new and more effective ways to gather prey, and ways to make future generations of warriors even stronger, though she never explains how she intends to make this happen.
History: Berrykit had always been a little different from her siblings. She was always far more quiet, to the point her mother had often worried about her. Surely kits were supposed to make more noise than an occasional, quiet mewl right? Her siblings all seemed far more lively and loud than she had, though when brought to the medicine cat, nothing wrong could be found with her. So it was determined that the kitten was merely not as vocal as her siblings.
As time went on, other oddities were noticed in the kit. Namely her distaste for playing and a desire for solitude, away from her siblings and the other residents of the nursery. The only cats she sought to spend time with were her mother and the clan elders. As it turned out, Berrykit loved listening to the stories the elders would tell. She would sit with them for many hours a day listening to their tales. Her favorite stories were always about clever cats who used their environments to their advantage to catch prey or win battles, though she held not a care for stories of the brave, and tales of the foolhardy merely served to amuse her.
When she'd become an apprentice, she seemed almost unfazed by it all. The cheering of cats, the honor of being named an apprentice, the excitement of finding out who her mentor would be, hardly any of it seemed to affect her, and many other apprentices joked that she would have been a better fit for the elder's den since she'd always seemed so uninterested in becoming a warrior.
Her mentor was more than a little distraught at the apprentice's actions as training began. Not because she did poorly, in fact she was quite the quick learner, but rather because Berrypaw would often slip away from training while he wasn't looking. Whenever he would tear his eyes off the apprentice she'd be gone in a matter of seconds, leading the poor tom on a wild goose chase until he eventually found her playing by the river, or lounging in the sun. It took a lot of scolding and threats to have her warrior ceremony held back before the she-cat would even consider staying by his side during lessons.
She made it to warriorhood eventually, though Berryfrost is still something of an enigma to most cats. She rarely interacts with others, and prefers to stay out in Rainclan territory by herself, doing Starclan knows what. Most cats don't really complain much, she still does her duties and goes on patrols and brings in prey, sometimes prey that isn't typically caught in rainclan. And once or twice she's brought back some herbs as well, though where she's getting it nobody really knows.
Other: None for now.
