Name: Waspkit / Wasp-paw / Waspwing
Age: 33 Moons
Gender: Tom
Clan: StoneClan
Rank: Warrior
Picture:
Description: Waspwing is a multi-coloured ginger cat with many flecks of brown and white that traverse the entire length of his body, including his tail, which has a white tip. He is tall and lean, having long lost his kit-hood fur as he's aged, and his frame and his legs have grown with him. This gives him a look of a cat who is underfed, but in reality, he just has an extremely high metabolism (like those people we all know who can eat like a horse and still be skinny). He has deep-set amber eyes that are constantly alert, checking for danger (or, most likely, she-cats... Petalrain will have fun)
Description Summary: A tall orange tabby tom with amber eyes.
Personality: Despite being a pacifist and avoiding conflict where possible, Waspwing gives the air of a cat who is quick and good in a fight, and is much more willing to settle a confrontation with his claws than his mouth. This is not at all the case. He'd much rather act the diplomat and negotiate his way out of trouble. When first meeting a new cat, he's a big flirt; his aim is to make the cat he is interacting with as 'at-ease' as he can. He's actually remarkably easy to get along with. However, if he doesn't like you, you'll know. He won't be easy-going and he won't be kind. He'll just ignore you, unless he knows how to piss you off. If he knows how to piss you off and he doesn't like you, he'll play petty jokes and such just to get you angry.
By and large however, he's a remarkably easy cat to get along with. He knows how he appears, the high-school heart-throb/bad boy archetype; he plays on it shamelessly.
History: Waspwing was born Waspkit, alongside his siblings Rowankit and Fawnkit. His mother, Honeyface, had also had another kit, Littlekit, with another tom, which led to a lot of confusion for the three siblings - they had a sibling who wasn't really a sibling, and none of that made sense to any of them. Growing up, the three were not close. As the only tom, Waspkit felt alienated from the rest of his family, and his half sister Littlepaw was not helping either.
When he reached the end of his kithood and became Wasp-paw, he was given to the steady warrior Sandheart for tutelage. Wasp-paw learned everything he knew from Sandheart, and the two formed a strong bond. He tried to avoid all of his sisters whenever possible, preferring to concentrate on his training and making him a better cat to be an asset to his Clan. The attitudes of his sisters got to him, and the rift that had opened between them during kithood never quite recovered.
At the age of 15 moons, the first of his siblings to have the ceremony, Wasp-paw was named Waspwing for his spirit and his conviction. Keeping his vigil, he was forced to stay silent when Sandheart disappeared out of camp, never to return. No cat knows what happened to Sandheart, but Waspwing has vowed to himself to be the best cat he can be, and make his mentor proud - wherever he may be.
