Name: Marshkit (Marshcloud)
Age: 3 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: LightningClan
Rank: Kit
Picture:
Description: Marshkit is a small, long-furred brown tabby she-kit with amber eyes. She is tiny and somewhat chubby due to all the kitten fat that she has still remaining on her body. She isn't very muscular or strong looking just yet as she's still a kit, but once she gets older she will begin to get bigger and more powerful with time. Once she's into adulthood, Marshkit will ,likely be a fairly muscular she-cat, seemingly well built for battle despite her attitude not being very well suited for fighting. Time will only tell exactly how large this she-cat gets though, as he birth parents were both fairly large cats.
Description Summary: Brown tabby she-kit with amber eyes
Personality: Marshkit is a timid and shy little kit, never really sure how to go about social interactions. She's always worried that she'll mess up or say the wrong thing, terrified of the mere thought of embarrassing herself in front of another cat. So she often remains quiet, hardly speaking yet formulating a potential response in her head that will likely never see the light of day unless she is coaxed into speaking. Though trying to coax her into speaking is a bad idea, as you're just as likely to cause her to burst into tears as you are to get a reply from her.
She does have abandonment issues however, and is terrified of the people she loves leaving her. It's one of her biggest fears and results in her becoming incredibly clingy towards friends and loved ones. Sometimes she'll follow them around or make up excuses to hang out with them, especially if they haven't spent much time with her in a while. She truly means no harm or offense in it, she just wants to make sure that nobody forgets about her. The last thing she wants is to be left all alone after all.
Once she becomes close to cats, though she will be clingy, she's also incredibly supportive of them. She loves all her friends dearly and wants nothing more than to see them succeed in life. So any and all dreams they may have, she'll happily listen to them and encourage her friends to pursue them. Just as well, she'll even try to formulate plans on how she can help them or how they could go about trying to achieve said dream, intent on helping them out as best she can along the way and being the best friend to them that she can be.
History: Marshkit had only been with her mother for a couple of days before losing her. The tiny kitten barely remembered a thing about her aside from the immense warmth she provided and the surprising lack of heat the moment the large she-cat left to 'go stretch her legs'. After that however, there was nothing left. That familiar warmth hadn't returned to her and eventually she was placed at the belly of a new she-cat, temporarily to allow her to feed properly. At the time, she was too young to even consider what had happened to her mom. She wouldn't have ever known had it not been for the tom that sired her.
Her father was an absolute wreck after the passing of his mate. His heart broken, and his mind full of disdain for the broken remains of what used to be his life. This was not the way things were supposed to go for him, he was supposed to lead a happy life now that he had a family. But without his mate he was nothing, and with the desire to place the blame on something, someone tangible, he started to vaguely believe that Marshkit were somehow responsible for her mother's death. That, had it not been for the birth of the child, his mate would have not gotten up to leave when she did and perhaps she wouldn't have been killed in the end.
He knew this was a foolish train of thinking, but he couldn't pull his mind away from the thought. Perhaps it was his way of pushing the innocent kitten away from him before the inevitable happened. But in the end, he'd stayed with the kitten long enough to see her get weaned by her temporary foster mother. Afterwards he told the small kit what happened to her mother, explained that she was gone and then afterwards, made the decision to hand over Marshkit to a new family, unable to deal with the thought of raising his child alone.
