Name: Flint from Jagged Peak
Age: 6 moons (33 moons as of 11/4/19)
Gender: Tom
Clan: Tribe of Forgotten Waters
Rank: Prey Hunter
Picture:
Description:
Flint is a tall long-legged, medium furred black tom with silver eyes. Along with his brothers, he is lean, yet sure-footed and sturdy. His face is longer, but his muzzle is quite refined and pointed despite his colossal form. His snout tapers to a black nose accented by light grey whiskers. His ears are quite large, making his head look smaller than it really is, though with that comes incredible hearing. They do tend to get cold easily in the wintertime, though he is luckier than most to have a more substantial fur coat everywhere else. Flint's claws are very long and sharp, and he hold's his haunches naturally under himself like a German Shepherd, always poised for a leap. His tail is fluffy and sweeping, neither too long nor too short. He sticks out like a black bear in an open field wherever he goes, and although some might think of his looks as goofy and unnatural, Flint is actually a handsome cat.
Description Summary:
Flint is a tall, long-legged, medium furred black tom with silver eyes.
Personality:
Being the self-designated leader of the group, Flint tends to be committed and take charge of situations with a uniquely quiet arrogance. He is a reliable cat, and although he can be complicated in the eyes of authority, his ambitions do well at quelling his abrasive tendencies. He is very goal-driven and disciplined, with a silver-tongue backed by desire no matter how eloquent and persuasive he can convince otherwise. Unfortunately, Flint's intelligent, quick witted nature and handsome features fuel his conviction.
Flint has always been quite incisive, though most often for the wrong reasons. He quit staging as a hero and a do-gooder long ago, and most of his choices nowadays are made on the fly, often being an effort to satisfy some kind of indulgence. Flint is a natural liar, and is to himself as easily as he is towards others. Dishonesty and manipulation has been a more recent adaptation, emanating from the nodule of self-disgust and unattributed guilt writhing deep within his psyche that he undoubtedly ignores, burying his shame in intemperate self-gratification. If Flint does happen to be generous, it is oftentimes a means to an end: a selfish way to ease the pains of an unspoken, ghostly insecurity he cannot escape.
One thing Flint is very capable of offering others while excluding himself is reprieve. His motto has always been in a sense, innocent until proven guilty, and he has developed a healthy relationship with many cats putting aside his vengeance for another time. Although he is quick to give those around him benefit of the doubt, he never forgets their wrongdoings and mistakes. Flint dwells on things very easily, and for quite some time. His memory is incredibly proficient. Although he may be feeling stirrings of negativity, Flint is a master of guises and masks, oftentimes fooling those around him into thinking he forgave and forgot.
Best not forget yourself: often the most terrible revenges are on unsuspecting souls.
Some might call Flint close-minded, but its his strict and unwavering morals are usually what define him. He believes he is always right, and that his motives are always justified. Peers and siblings alike have gone to Flint for support over the years, but most often the sensitive and stubborn leave spurred and agitated. He means well, but his insistence that he knows best can rub others the wrong way.
Flint's rigid opinions and narrow outlook are rarely compatible with activists.
Paired dangerously with a silent yet relentless arrogance, Flint passively expresses defiance. He would resist something he couldn't fathom or agree with through an overwhelming state of inaction or disregard. If an argument turns sour, he is quick to walk away and pretend it didn't happen. In extreme cases, Flint is prone to ruining himself in order to support his beliefs and morals.
Good thing he doesn't have a long or complex list.
History:
Flintfang, along with his two brothers, were born in a complicated family situation. Their mother and father were young when they were conceived and the relationship ended up falling flat. Their mother kitted the three healthy kits and raised them herself, with the help of a few occasional visits from their father. The kittens were always bickering like a cluster of elders. They were obviously an adventurous and boisterous trio by their many midnight outings together towards the latter ends of their kit moons, and their founders quickly grew close to the musketeers on the countless journeys back to camp. The three kittens were charismatic as a group, to say the least. The trio did look different from most Stoneclan cats, with an unusual, oriental look about them. They are lithe and long-legged, all three with long, strong muzzles and large ears. Despite their looks, they have always been widely accepted into the clan.
His apprenticeship was quite uneventful. Flintfang's bond with his brothers was incredibly strong, and he was with at least one of brothers almost at all times. He has always been quite attached to both of them, though he didn't like Mothflight's aloofness or Dustclaw's mischievousness. They all had good mentors and completed their training, earning their warrior names in decent time.
Life seemed well off for the brothers, though the Tribe's visits to StoneClan sparked interest in Flintfang. It wasn't until Mothflight's death that he decided to leave StoneClan and slowly make his way to the mountains.
