Name: Moth That Flutters In Moonlight (Moth)
Age: 36 moons
Gender: She-cat
Clan: Tribe of Forgotten Waters
Rank: Prey-Hunter
Picture:
Description Summary: A long-furred seal point tabby she-cat with brilliant blue eyes.
Personality: At first glance, Moth is a stoic, subdued cat. She can come across as a bit stern, but not unkind. She isn't usually talkative, and can become a bit lost in her own thoughts. But she wasn't always this way. The losses she has endured have taken a heavy toll on her, and to those who knew her before, she seems a bit... hollow. The old Moth was optimistic and outgoing. The old Moth was energetic and ambitious. But perhaps all she needs is time to mourn.
History: Moth born behind the waterfall that shrouded the Tribe's cave home. Early on, it was clear that she was destined to be a prey-hunter: she had nimble paws and fast reflexes. She was particularly skilled at navigating tricky terrain, scaling rock faces to reach prey otherwise out of reach. Her resourcefulness earned her the admiration of Wasp, a fellow prey-hunter. They pair soon became inseparable, and it came as a surprise to no one when Moth's belly began to swell with kits. Featherstep had offered her help as the kits grew within her, and she'd happily accepted. When the kits finally came, Featherstep saw them safely delivered, and Moth had never been happier. She nursed Osprey, Gorge, and Cliff, and all was right. But just as the kits reached their third moon, Moth's world was devastated. A deadly sickness swept through the Tribe, one Featherstep called "greencough." It stole from her not only her precious son, Cliff, but her beloved, Wasp. It was a painful, torturous death. Three moons more, and the Tribe's very home turned against them, ending their Stoneteller's life, and gravely injuring Gorge. The Tribe had no choice but to leave, and followed Featherstep out of the mountains. But Leafbare's blizzards caught them by surprise, and they found themselves seeking refuge in a hollow tree. Gorge died of his injuries. Absolutely wrecked from the loss, she carried on, driven only by her love for her only remaining son, Osprey.
