Firestar had busied herself with cleaning out her den earlier that morning and finally found the time to relax. It was refreshing to have the old moss out of her den, it felt like Newleaf was already warming the valley. Shifting her attention as she sat near the base of the Hill Top, Firestar watched her clanmates with care. Kits played just outside the nursery, she caught a glimpse of Sunnypaw venturing out of the apprentice den without his fur standing on ends. She had learned from Redscar that Sunnypaw appeared to have a fear of snow, which was understandable given the reason they were no in LightingClan's care.

Turning her attention away from Sunnypaw for a moment Firestar let her eyes wander toward the setting sun. She was going to be calling a Clan meeting but wanted to wait until it was closer to the evening, when everyone was back home. Letting herself got lost again in watching her clan, Firestar felt the sun shift fully and she knew it was time.

Rising to her feet, Firestar gathered herself up before jumping and climbing her way up to the top of the hill. She made brief eye contact with a few members, some realizing what was going on before she even said anything. Taking a deep breath, Firestar let out a short yowl to gather attention before speaking up.

"Let everyone old enough to catch their own prey gather below the hill top for a clan meeting!" Her voice carried well and she watched as cats gathered. Flashbrook moved out of the warrior's den but didn't venture far. It was clear his old injury was acting up. Sunnypaw brushed against his adoptive father's side as he took up a spot next to the blue-eyed tom. Firestar kept standing as he waited for everyone to finish gathering.
