Description Summary: A large, medium furred, gray/brown and white tabby tom with bright green eyes
Personality: Thistletail is a grumpy tom who doesn't like many others. He doesn't get along well with his clanmates, and he doesn't enjoy being around anyone aside from the rare few who he calls friend. When he talks with others, he is very straight forwards and right to the point, he doesn't speak in metaphors or tell stories, and he certainly isn't one for speeches. When he is talking to himself or under his breath, he tends to ramble on and on about nothing in particular, gruffly and lowly. Though he isn't fond of socializing, and seems to be a brick wall when it comes to personality, he has a soft spot for his mate, kits, and other younger members of the clan. He adores kits and apprentices(who behave) and loves to spend time with the queens and kits of the clan. He completely melts when it comes to his mate and kits, whom he loves dearly, and rains them with love and praise. After events with loosing a kit, he became even more shut out from other members of the clan out of his family and tends to be over protective and paranoid when it comes to his mate and kits.
History: Thistlekit was born to two StoneClan warriors who were both brownish/gray tabbies with green eyes, so his pelt was of course the same as theirs. His father's fur, however, was more pringly, as is Thistlekit's. He was a large kit in a single litter, born healthy and had no major problems with his first two moons in the nursery. He was a very playful kit, compared to his more gruff persona as a warrior, and got along fairly well with others, which slowly faded as he grew more grumpy and to himself.
Thistlepaw was apprenticed on time, and not far behind him was his crush, Lotuspaw. She had started off as a friend but as time went on Thistlepaw developed feelings for her. Even so, their relationship hadn't exactly 'Hit it off' at first. Once feelings came out and the two spent most of their time with one another, they started to bicker and argue over every little thing imaginable. Thistlepaw was bad about making comments that he should have kept in his head, such as, "That was a lousy catch," or "A kittypet could have done that move better," Which caused even more arguing and bickering, only to make up later with mouthfuls of "Sorry," and "I didn't mean it," from the tom. The other apprentices and other warriors were more than a little agitated by the day to day routine.
Once warriorhood hit, their relationship was still standing strong and the arguing of a daily routine seemed to have never existed in the first place. It was completely happy and fine for a good while. Until the two warriors found out that they might not be able to have kits together. Regardless of that, Thistletail loved Lotusrain very much and would never leave her side because of something like the want for kits, but he couldn't deny that he felt a pang of want to have his own little darling kits grow up in the clan with a mother as lovely as his mate.
Just as he was coming to terms with accepting this the news was announced that Lotusrain was indeed expecting kits, and gave birth to a litter of four. Cricketkit, Kitekit, Valeriankit, and Honeykit. The delivery wasn't easy for his mate, which he was by her side for, but she made it through and all the kits were born fairly healthy and Lotusrain recovered within time.
Thistletail adored his kits and loved each of them very dearly. Though most cats in the clan have their kits and then they become the clan's kits, in a way, Thistletail and his kits and mate worked as a more solitary family unit within the clan. He worked as if their leader, working them with a gentle paw and teaching them all he knew about the warrior code and the ways of warrior life. He took pride in his kits and mate, treasuring how close they all were as a unit.
During a particularly few ill moons, however, two of the darling kits had become sick, and Kitekit fell victim to the illness, and passed to StarClan. It was a major hit for the family. Kitkit had been starting to turn into a fine little StoneClan kit who, as the other siblings, was respectful of the warrior code and other cats of the clan. During this time the family became closer, and Thistletail severely shut every one else out. For a long time after the only ones he really communicated with was his kin, and unlike the rest of the clan, the strong strung together family kept the fallen member in their hearts. Thistletail became fiercely overprotective of his kits and mate, and now dreads the cold season when sickness spreads throughout the clan, and at the first, slightest cough from one of his kin will result in an immediate trip to the medicine den. He worst and darkest fear would be to loose another member of his family that he holds so dear and so closely to his heart.
Thistletail was sad when his kits left the nursery, but they had already been in for too long since they had all stayed behind to help Honeypaw, who was still recovering from the illness as well, but kits must grow and learn and become members of the clan just as he had before. He still cares very much for his kits and always will, and he makes sure that they know that they are loved. He always reminds them that he, and their mother, is there to help them and be there for them and support them no matter what. Thistletail wants to see his darling little warriors grow, but deep down he is afraid that something could befall them at any moment, and though it doesn't normally show around others, he cares deeply for the four members of his family within the clan.

Description: A large tom cat with broad shoulders and a wide frame. His fur is medium at length, poking out as if a bramble bush, which is how he received his name of "Thistle," as a kit. His spiky fur is a mix of brown, gray, and white. The brown and gray mixes together for the base color of his lush pelt, and several darker markings can be found along the base coloring, darker grays and darker browns. His chest is white, along with his tail tip, paws, a splotch on his stomach, and another splotch tat fades into the base coloring on his chin and muzzle area. The white on his back paws come up to his heels, while the white on his front paws come up to only his toes. His nose is pink with a black outline, and is small with a small bridge. His eyes are a bright green, and sit neatly on his narrow nose and muzzle. His whiskers are short and clearly white, about 15 on either side of his muzzle that shorten as they grow closer to his chin.
