For past calendars, please click here!
When starting a thread look at the real-life date and find it on the calendar above. That is the day that the thread starts on. Threads can continue for as long as the roleplayers wish and do not need to end before the 'next' day starts. This system is in place to help keep events going.
All characters will age up at the start of the season.
Are marked at the bottom and roleplays are to be affected by those events. Gatherings and Medicine cat meetings are marked.
Backdating a thread?
Need to backdate? Go ahead, you may start threads on any day in the current season that has already passed, but no threads may be started 'in the future' (any day that occurs after the current IC date). If you want to start a thread that occurs in a past season, please use the Take A Step Back board.
Please PM Zeneka , Fawntastic , or Taxx .
Greenleaf 1 Sunlight continues to bear down heavily on the valley, making the dry grass brittle. Hunting is especially difficult due to extra sound caused by breaking leaves.
Greenleaf 2 The sun beats down with ray after ray of relentless heat. Cracks that have formed in the earth widen and most prey has retreated to the shade for relief.
Greenleaf 3 A light rain passes, but not enough to quench the thirst of the valley's plants. The valley begins to wither, and ground prey takes off in search of water.
Greenleaf 4 It is a mild and dry day, cooled slightly by the previous day's rain. A few wisps of clouds drift through the sky.
Greenleaf 5 The day is hot with little to no clouds in the sky and a dry breeze that does little to ease the once more growing heat.
Greenleaf 6 Another dry day with the sun beating down due to lack of clouds, though today doesn't hold the same breeze as the air remains stagnant.
Greenleaf 7 A light midday mist is welcomed as it provides a short relief from the sweltering heat of the day.
Greenleaf 8 The intense heat is accompanied by strong humidity that suggests a storm will come soon.
Greenleaf 9 Clouds congregate above the valley, absorbing the sun's rays and promising rain.
Greenleaf 10 The sky opens up and a steady rain falls all day. Some green begins to return to the valley after the intense, dry heat that has pervaded greenleaf thus far.
Greenleaf 11 The day is an ideal balance of warm and cool. A few short lived sun-showers occur throughout the day.
Greenleaf 12 The morning is greeted with a thin blanket of fog. Though the heat clears up the mists by sun-high, visibility is poor all throughout the morning and night.
Greenleaf 13 There are faint rumbles in the sky beyond the mountain but the sky is clear with the beating sun and hot bursts of wind gust through the valley.
Greenleaf 14 Dark clouds move over the valley, the air is tense and thunder roars. A few lightning strikes appear in the clouds before the rain cascades down.
Greenleaf 15 The ground becomes muddy in the day after the storm, unable to soak up all the water. A welcomed break from the heat.
Greenleaf 16 More clouds roll in as most of the day is spent overcast, the growing heat has been suspended for some time as a cool breeze is believed to bring more rain.
Greenleaf 17 A cool breeze flows over the valley. There is a hint of more rain on the wind, and sure enough a few rain showers break through the clouds late in the day.
Greenleaf 18 Clouds heavy with rain sweep in through the night, darkening the rising sun. By midday the storm clouds unleash in a torrential downpour, drenching any soul who dares to step outside within seconds.
*Flash flood! NightClan and RainClan camps must be evacuated.
Greenleaf 19 Unpredictable, scattered rain showers throughout the night and day only worsen the flooding as the ground is already saturated with water.
*NightClan and RainClan camps are uninhabitable and most of RainClan's territory is under water.
Greenleaf 20 At last the rains ease and the storm clouds dissipate. The sun shines a little brighter in its wake.
*Watch out for falling trees as over saturated soil allows roots to let go in NightClan and RainClan territories.
Greenleaf 21 The sun shines and the sky is free of clouds, but by nightfall the sky is overcast, causing some to worry about more rain. The day is pleasant over all, and the night is cool.
Greenleaf 22 By morning the night's clouds have gone, leaving the sun to shine once more. The day is hot and humid.
Greenleaf 23 Another warm sunny day follows the last, allowing much of the valley to finally begin to dry out.
Greenleaf 24 The heat today is nearly unbearable, the sun beating down relentlessly, but the flood waters recede considerably.
*NightClan can return to their camp.
Greenleaf 25 Fluffy white clouds decorate the sky all day, but by dusk the sky has cleared and the full moon shines brightly all night. It is warm but comfortable.
*RainClan's territory still has high water, but is safely traversable, and they can return to their camp.
Greenleaf 26 The day is sunny but mild, with occasional clouds.
Greenleaf 27 An unseasonably cold day makes for chilly, muddy hunting. The sky is overcast.
Greenleaf 28 Fog rolls in overnight and clouds slowly travel across the sun throughout a mild day.
Greenleaf 29 Harsh winds blow down from the mountains, rattling the forests. The winds hold the scent of change.
Greenleaf 30 The sunlight prevails, even as the first leaves begin to shift colors. The day promises a warm start to the next season.
*The last remnants of the flooding are finally gone.
Leaf-fall 1 The day is pleasant and mostly sunny, with the occasional cloud drifting across the sky.
