[atrb=width,390,true][bg=003333]After a discussion with Blackeagle, Fallingstar knew the time had come. Bunching her hindquarters, Fallingstar took a deep breath and easily landed atop the pile. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Boulder Pile for a Clan meeting!" From on top of the pile, the she-cat spotted Blackeagle sitting just outside the medicine cat den and offered a quick nod to the medicine cat. Blackeagle had expressed that, after Crowfang's death, it was time for him to take on his own apprentice. The leader was going to let him perform the ceremony before the Clan so that he could announce his choice. In the mean time, there was a second issue at hand; the warrior ceremony for Granitepaw. She was nervous about the tom's ceremony, almost certain that the words would escape her, the she-cat had repeatedly chanted them in her head. Over and over, those words were deeply embedded in her brain. Watching the cats father around her, the leader began to relax. Granitepaw's warrior ceremony was soon, and Fallingstar still had yet to decide on a name, but at least it was something that she could put in the back of her mind for the moment. Today, the spotlight would be on Blackeagle. The leader was more than happy to let him take charge, and maybe by the time of the warrior ceremony she would have a little more confidence.

He was glad to inform the she-cat that he was going to take up an apprentice. He knew that he was young, but after what happened with Crowfang, well, no cat can be certain anymore. If his apprentice made full medicine cat way before he died, well, at least he saved his hind. He walked outside of his den and sat down, and he waited. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Boulder Pile for a Clan meeting!" His leaders voice entered the camp and he got the signal from Ravenstar. The black tom got up from where he was and he walked up to the rock pile and climbed it to where he was beside Ravenstar then. He dips his head in respect to his leader before he looks upon the clan that was starting to show up. "Cats of StoneClan, it is time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown potential as a medicine cat. Your next medicine cat shall be Ivypaw!" His introduction ended there and he looked for his apprentice and his eyes landed on her. Next up was Ravenstar, but he knew that Ivypaw must have been jumping in her fur for this. Blackeagle then turned his gaze to his clan members. He knew that some of them still doubted him because of the mission that he had been sent on by Crowfang, and he did not blame them fully. But he also wished that they would quit judging from the past and just judge from how he acts now. Blackeagle had no thoughts of leaving, and there was no way that he was going to send his apprentice on a mission like that either. [/style]

Ivypaw almost yowled with excitement. Giving herself one final groom, to check her creamy pale ginger pelt for thorns or burrs, then leapt to her paws, her green eyes almost glowing.
This was it! she thought to herself excitedly, I'm going to be a medicine cat apprentice!
She composed herself quickly, trying to make herself look as calm and collected as possible as she emerged from the apprentices' den, her pelt slicked and immaculate from her grooming.
She lifted her small, delicate head high and strode over to the Boulder Pile, her nose high to the cloudy grey sky.
Patiently, she stared up at Blackeagle, StoneClan's Medicine Cat. He had called the clan together and even though he hadn't said a single word since about Ivypaw, the excitement was mounting up inside of Ivypaw.
A shiver of anticipation ran down her spine, though she still maintained her calm and composed posture.
"Cats of StoneClan, it is time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who has shown potential as a medicine cat. Your next medicine cat shall be Ivypaw!"
Ivypaw almost leapt out of her pelt in excitement, I'm a medicine cat apprentice! I'm a medicine cat apprentice!
She started leaping about, her green eyes glowing with happieness and pride. Then she noticed the whole clan was watching her and quickly shrunk back to her calm and composed state. Though inside her, the excitement was still there and it was real all right.
StarClan have chosen me as StoneClan's next medicine cat!

Spotting young Ivypaw and dark-furred Blackeagle, the tom dipped his head to them both in acknowledgment, golden eyes brimming with understanding. A Medicine Cat Apprentice ceremony, eh? How long had it been since he'd seen one? Well never, actually. He hadn't even opened his eyes yet if he'd even been born when Blackeagle had been apprenticed to Crowfang. His eyes were full of fond humor as the dainty cream-furred apprentice nearly bounced up and down with excitement when Blackeagle spoke those age old words; He was amongst the many others who all aided their voices together in unison to cheer on the young she-cat. "Ivypaw! Ivypaw! Ivypaw!" Even as the sandy warrior cheered, his attention was drawn to his ever-so-thin sister, Eagletlaon observing the she-cat's dim coloring and deciding that she still looked regal, despite not being as vibrant or glossy as some of the other cats here. Eagletalon almost chuckled to himself.
