Personality: Bold. Playful. Extroverted.
Just as their names represent two opposite times of day, their personalities are just as different. While Dawnpaw is arguably a pacifist, Duskpaw has a lot less trouble with the idea of fighting and injuring her opponents – though her gungho attitude towards is generally directed at Non-TreeClanners. She would never go out of her way to harm members of her own Clan. Even though they are very different in their approach to things, Duskpaw still values her sister's opinion highly, and even if they don't always agree on much, Duskpaw loves the security and the strength of their bond, knowing that at the end of the day, she's going to curl up beside Dawnpaw inside the apprentices' den. It is for sentimental reasons that Duskpaw hopes that she and her sister will become warriors at the same time.
A tad clingy, Duskpaw is a little bit jealous of the wonderful relationship between Dawnpaw and her mentor Lionstep, Dawnpaw obviously viewing him as a father figure of sorts, and Duskpaw is envious of the way he reciprocates her familial feelings, almost as though making up for the father they lost in their younger moons.
When not worrying about how her sister is dealing with her apprenticeship, Duskpaw usually jumps headfirst into her training exercises, possessing a tenacious nature that makes it difficult for her to let things go, Duskpaw choosing to practice the same moves all night if it means she'll show improvement. Lately, Duskpaw's hard work has not been motivated by a simple desire to be a great warrior, but by the faintest glimmer of a dream – a dream that sees Duskpaw as the noble, elegant Duskstar, a she-cat who makes sacrifices for the good of her Clan, and has enough generosity and power to hold the very stars in her paws...
However, there's been a slight curve in those dreams she's kept secret from all but Dawnpaw, and that just so happens to be a gray and white tom who's happily shredded her current plans for the future. Duskpaw's crush on the arrogant, stubborn Noblepaw began at the beginning moon of her apprenticeship, Duskpaw attracted to the skill and self-confidence he displayed, his level of prowess and self-esteem on an entirely different level compared to hers. Having spent half of her life with her pacifist, kindly sister, Duskpaw unknowingly was hungry for a break, ready to try hanging out with someone possessing a different, stronger personality type than that of her somewhat timid sister's.
Duskpaw's affection for Noblepaw, however, has made her somewhat blind to his faults – and when she does acknowledge them, in her mind, it's fairly easy to come up with a good reason for why he behaved this way or said a certain thing to someone. Though she isn't a fan of him breaking the warrior code or reacting too strongly in some situations, Duskpaw has convinced herself that he'll probably grow out of that by the time they're warriors. As is typical with any girl with a crush, Duskpaw's secret desire to earn his approval, his attention, and hopefully his affection, willing to forsake her dreams of Clan leadership in favor of romance.
At that age where toms are just a bit more important to her than anything else, it's fortunate for TreeClan that her desire to become an excellent warrior has melded with her desire to impress Noblepaw, Duskpaw aware that the tom has a distinct brand of hostility towards anyone he deemed 'weak' or a 'loser'. Determined to break through his coldness and impress him, Duskpaw is giving it her all from dusk till dawn if that's what it takes to catch her fellow apprentice's attention.
History:
Duskpaw was born to Petalchaser and Stormpelt, two long-term friends who had gotten caught up in their emotions and the exhileration that came from being newly made warriors. Rushing into a relationship, though Dusk-kit and Dawnkit were a direct result of this, the two warriors ended up parting coolly, vowing to work together for the good of their kits. Petalchaser was the dominant parent in their lives, but Stormpelt never forgot them and his obligation to them as their father; helping out from time to time. Petalchaser, though arguably more active in the lives of her two kits than Stormpelt was, she too was somewhat neglectful of her duties as a mother. Her frequent absences in the Nursery led Dusk-kit and Dawnkit to view the other queens as their mothers as well, and thus the pair bonded very heavily to each other.
Though obviously incredibly different, their personalities complimented rather than clashed, and the two she-cats are still very close, even in their apprenticeship, now that they have separate mentors, separate lives to live and separate interests. Duskpaw, her ceremony arriving right on the scheduled 6th moon of her life, still enjoys nestling down next to Dawnpaw after a long day to share tongues and catch up once more.

Description:
In contrast to her mostly white-hued sibling, Duskpaw was blessed with a much darker, more forest-friendly color scheme, this light-weight she-cat of a lovely tortoiseshell and white pattern (Torbie) with a few hints of tabby markings upon her front and back legs and the center of her forehead. Mottled with autumnal shades of ginger, arboreal shades of dark brown, and the crisp white of winter, Duskpaw is well equipped for the TreeClan territory, able to blend in during most seasons save for the heavily snowy months of leafbare. The mottled appearance is even on her nose, which is primarily pink, save for a splash of black on the right side, her prominently ginger face complimented by leaf-green eyes, a white chin, long whiskers, and cute little black ear-tufts that soften her already fluffy appearance.
Duskpaw's pelt length is medium in length during the summer and spring months, though will arguably grow longer as the seasons change into fall and winter, until she has a thick bottle-brush tail, long fur between each of her snow-white toes, and thicker fur along her narrow chest and the edges of her face. Duskpaw is actually a tad heavier than her sister, and as a result, a little bit slower, though she has adjusted well to crouching and leaping down from the tree branches of her Clan's territory, and thus far has encountered no problems due to her weight and speed.
Physical Strengths & Weaknesses:
Stronger Fighter: what with her stronger, more lean-muscled form.
Weaker Hunter: her thick tail and fluffy paws make it easy to step on a leaf or a branch without meaning to, or brush against brambles and disrupt her hunting. That and she excels more in things that require less stealth over all.
Excellent Camouflage: Her dappled pelt makes it easy to blend in with her surroundings, and if only she could master the art of stepping lightly and treading carefully, her hunting skills would vastly improve.
Description Summary: A lean long-haired tortoiseshell-tabby and white she-cat with light green eyes and white-tipped paws.
