Site News We are attempting to revive after a coma which lasted far too long. Advertising would be much appreciated by both new and old members. Let's get FoF going again, and better than before at that! ;)
I've also decided that instead of waiting for people to make a whole bunch of rogues and loners to fill MountainClan's ranks, we will be using NPCs for the most part. You are still welcome to make a MountainClan cat, but I'll warn you, MountainClan will not be around forever and the cats will return to being rogues and loners sooner or later.
Prophecy Night will fall over the Forest
Trees will block out the Light
A mighty Storm will scatter Stone
Five fall to Four and One falls to flight
A kit finds it's mother to take up the fight
And the Mountain's peace will crumble and cease
(No cat has been told of the prophecy and the plot will not take place for some time yet. We need more members and we need to fill high ranks before the plot can take place. The five cats who will be getting the prophecy for each Clan will get it after all high ranks are filled and MountainClan will not receive it as StarClan does not recognize them as a true Clan.)
Rogues and Loners: 7
MountainClan Guardian: Maverick Mentor: Misty Total Cats: 14

Borage Leaves They should be chewed and eaten. The plant can be distinguished by its small blue or pink star-shaped flowers and hairy leaves. Great for nursing queens as it helps increase their supply of milk. Also brings down fever. Pic: http://www.stoplaughing.com.au/wordpress....agewideshot.jpg
Chervil A sweet-smelling plant with large, spreading, fernlike leaves and small white flowers. The juice of the leaves can be used for infected wounds, and chewing the roots helps with bellyache. Pic: http://www.gov.ns.ca/agri/rir/weeds/chervil2.jpg
Cobweb Spiderwebs can be found all over the forest. Medicine cats wrap it around an injury to soak up the blood and keep the wound clean. Stops bleeding.
Comfrey Identifiable by its large leaves and small bell-shaped flowers, which can be pink, white, or purple. The fat black roots of this plant can be chewed into a poultice to mend broken bones or soothe wounds. Pic: http://www.branch-of-israel.com/comfrey.jpg
Honey A sweet, golden liquid created by bees. Difficult to collect without getting stung, but great for soothing infections or the throats of cats who have breathed smoke. Pine and Maple sap can also be used, but they don't taste quite as good or work quite as effectively.
Juniper Berries A bush with smiky dark green leaves and purple berries. The berries soothe bellyaches and help cats who are having trouble breathing. Pic: http://www.bevlaw.com/images/juniperberries.jpg
Marigold A bright orange or yellow flower that grows low to the ground. The petals or leaves can be chewed into a pulp and applied as a poultice to wounds. Stops infection. Pic: http://www.florifacts.umn.edu/Trials/Ann....a nge%20124.jpg
Mouse Bile A bad-smelling liquid that is the only remedy for ticks. Dab a little moss soaked in bile on a tick and it'll fall right off. Wash paws thoroughly in running water afterward.
