Site News We are attempting to revive after a coma which lasted far too long. Advertising would be much appreciated by both new and old members. Let's get FoF going again, and better than before at that! ;)
I've also decided that instead of waiting for people to make a whole bunch of rogues and loners to fill MountainClan's ranks, we will be using NPCs for the most part. You are still welcome to make a MountainClan cat, but I'll warn you, MountainClan will not be around forever and the cats will return to being rogues and loners sooner or later.
Prophecy Night will fall over the Forest

A mighty Storm will scatter Stone
Five fall to Four and One falls to flight
A kit finds it's mother to take up the fight
And the Mountain's peace will crumble and cease
(No cat has been told of the prophecy and the plot will not take place for some time yet. We need more members and we need to fill high ranks before the plot can take place. The five cats who will be getting the prophecy for each Clan will get it after all high ranks are filled and MountainClan will not receive it as StarClan does not recognize them as a true Clan.)

Description Summary: A large tom with long, black and ginger fur and molten gold eyes.
Personality: Maverick is always a flirtatious tom with any pretty she-cat that he meets. He has a great sense of humor and likes to have fun. Group living isn't really his thing, he likes being alone and only having to worry about himself. He likes to wander and never really stays in one place for very long. He knows the mountains surrounding the Clans extremely well and is willing to help most any cat that passes by, if they are lucky enough to meet up with him. he is a very free sprit and absolutely HATES being told what to do.
History: Maverick was born within the Tribe of Rushing Water. His mother was (Song) Bird In Flight and his father was (Storm) Cloud In The Sky, who was the son of Stormfur and Brook. With his large frame and muscular build, he was destined to become a cave-guard when he truly wished in his heart to be a prey-hunter. When he confronted Stoneteller on this, the old cat was not happy. No cat had ever questioned his decision on their future. When Stoneteller denied him the right to be a prey-hunter, he took what skills he could from his to-be days as a cave-guard and left the night Stoneteller was about to make him a full cave-guard. He said he would forge his own destiny and no cat would ever tell him who he could or could not be again. He wandered for a long a while before coming upon the Clans and deciding he would stick around. Recently, he has met a certain Clan she-cat named Dawnpelt that has captured his interest and they have become mates, secretly since it is against her Clan's law to mate outside of the Clan. He doesn't see why it matters, but respects her wishes. He does not yet know that she is pregnant with his kits.
