Site News We are attempting to revive after a coma which lasted far too long. Advertising would be much appreciated by both new and old members. Let's get FoF going again, and better than before at that! ;)
I've also decided that instead of waiting for people to make a whole bunch of rogues and loners to fill MountainClan's ranks, we will be using NPCs for the most part. You are still welcome to make a MountainClan cat, but I'll warn you, MountainClan will not be around forever and the cats will return to being rogues and loners sooner or later.
Prophecy Night will fall over the Forest
Trees will block out the Light
A mighty Storm will scatter Stone
Five fall to Four and One falls to flight
A kit finds it's mother to take up the fight
And the Mountain's peace will crumble and cease
(No cat has been told of the prophecy and the plot will not take place for some time yet. We need more members and we need to fill high ranks before the plot can take place. The five cats who will be getting the prophecy for each Clan will get it after all high ranks are filled and MountainClan will not receive it as StarClan does not recognize them as a true Clan.)
Rogues and Loners: 7
MountainClan Guardian: Maverick Mentor: Misty Total Cats: 14
Description: Sunpelt is a beautiful, petite, fiery cat. Her orange and white fur gives most the impression of a fire or the sun (thus her name). She has big amber eyes and a small pink nose. The she-cat is also a longhair. Her fur pattern is quite peculiar. Starting between her eyes and ending right before her front legs is a little pentagon of white. Sunpelt's feet are also white, giving the impression of socks on her front feet and stockings on her back feet. She has orange and dark orange fur, which almost looks like a fire. The color to her fur is just as untameable.
Description Summary: A very small longhaired she-cat with orange, white, and dark orange fur and gold eyes with white "socks".
Personality: While this small she-cat may look sweet and timid, she is quite the opposite. Although Sunpelt is not mean, she is not nice either. She is kind of in between. Bitter is probably the best word to describe her. Like I said, her features may give off the impression that she is timid, but she is most definately not. If something needs to be done she is always a willing volunteer, which makes her a very good Medicine Cat. Sunpelt is also very focused on what she does. When she is doing something, not much can break her concentration. She is also very smart. Sunpelt has (and uses) common sense and brains. Her diplomatic ways often help her Clan out during difficulties.
History: Sunpelt is a Clanborn cat. Not long after the kitting, her mother died. One of the Queens took her in as her own. Sunpelt was the only kit of her litter who survived the long, cold leafbare and dreaded greencough. After a few Moons, she was apprenticed to Kestralfur. For several Moons, Sunpelt learned every herb and what it was for. She began to memorize where in the Medicine Cat den they were located. Sunpelt attended her first gathering at when she was 12 Moons old. Once the Clans moved, Kestralfur became an Elder and Sunpelt took his place at the age of 20 moons. After the had been settled in their new home, Sunpaw decided to go for a quick hunt. Sunpelt was padding through the forest when she was attacked by an enemy cat. During the battle, she got clawed on the belly, leaving a long, jagged scar in her long fur.
RP Example: Sunpelt was padding through the forest looking, listening, and tasting the air for prey. Catching the scent of a vole, Sunpelt dropped into a crouch and began to stalk the creature. Once the orange she-cat was within pouncing distance, a new sound startled her. Ignoring it, she pounced. Mid-leap, a large, heavy, black ball of fur knocked her to the ground. Slightly stunned, Sunpelt got up and faced her opponent. Letting out a threatening growl, the other cat (a large black tom with steel blue eyes) sliced at her face with a large paw and unsheathed claws. Dodging out of the way quickly, Sunpelt delivered an angry hiss. Hissing one more time, the small she-cat unsheathed her claws and jumped onto the tom's back, holding onto him with her claws and shaking violently. Feeling the black tom go limp under her, Sunpelt relaxed her grip. To her surprise (and dismay), her opponent rolled over onto his back and quickly raked his claws across her belly. With a loud yowl of pain, Sunpelt ran at the tom and sunk her sharp teeth into the Warrior's back leg, kicking at his side with her back feet and holding on with her front. As the tom twisted out of her grip, he launched himself at her, ready to deliver a deathly bite to the neck. Sunpelt judged the time and distance she would need, and right as he was about to come down on her, she jumped out of the way, letting him fall to the ground. As the black Warrior slinked out into the forest, Sunpelt sheathed her claws and waited for a few moments. Once she realized that he had truly retreated, she gave up hunting, went to gather her prey, and headed back to her Clan territory. As soon as Sunpelt dropped her kills on the fresh kill pile, she headed straight for the Medicine Cat den to put some dock and cobweb on her wound. After treating the scratch, Sunpelt took a mouse from the fresh kill pile, went back to her den, ate, and then went to sleep.
